About UsFoam Center was established in 1980 and our long history is a proof that we are a very successful company! It took a lot of hard work to reach this place stature and the journey wasn¿t easy at all. It all started with Bharat Kotak, a young man from Kutch, Gujarat who had nothing but will and determination to be a successful man. When we set up our first foam mattress shop, it was the only one of its kind in Mulund. People weren¿t aware about foam mattresses back then; they just used cotton mattress. We were caught in the undertow while marketing foam mattresses as a better alternative to the traditional cotton ones. It was a relatively new product and people weren¿t convinced about it. But Bharat Kotak managed to do it with his business genius. When this firm started, it was just a one man show. Bharat Kotak set up a small shop close to Mulund station. Here, he single handedly ran business of sofa making, foam mattress, etc. Kotak then shifted to N.S. Road Vishwa Mohini building and now we have reached Vikas Paradise, close to R-Mall. |
