Krishidhan bags packaging award for Krishidhan Bt. Cotton Pratik. World Packaging organization has awarded WORLDSTAR 2009 award for Bt. Cotton Pratik Packing of Krishidhan. It is for the highest recognition for the excellence in packaging in World .

Krishidhan bags packaging award for bollgard. Indian Institute of Packaging has awarded INDIASTAR 2008 award for Bollgard Cotton Packing of Krishidhan. It is for the highest recognition for the excellence in packaging in India . This award was for value engineering i.e advantage provided by combo pack in terms of cost efficiency in packaging, logistics etcThe Bollgard Seeds Box is printed on 'Recycled Grey Back board laminated with silver polyester metalized film'. The depth of the colors is remarkable and the "sharp white". The board is over coated with a special texture varnish to have a look alike effect of a grained plastic by Utility Printpack Pvt Ltd.

Testing Facilities

The main focus of KSL's research in R&D is to develop need based elite varieties and hybrids that would attract farmers' attention and benefit them because of high yield and quality as well as provide unique selling points (USPs) to the marketing division to ensure competitiveness. Quality Policy / Processes

Seed is the most vital input that sets the potential for crop yield and so achieving the best seed quality standards is the KSL's prime goal. For this purpose, the quality specifications/norms for field and seed stages prescribed in the Indian Minimum Seed Certification Standards published by the Govt. of India are kept as the minimum base; and additional specifications are indicated and adhered to.

Quality Management is a mechanism in-built in the entire seed production and handling chain; right from the choice of seed used for seed production up to the ultimate use of the final seed for commercial crop production. Hence, the company enforces strict Quality Management (QM) measures. The Company has well equipped QM Lab, strictly according to the Seed Testing Procedures/Rules of the International Seed Testing Association [ISTA].
The Company also maintains elaborate Grow Out Testing Facilities in 4 different locations/ agro climates - about 30 ha in all - where , annually about 15000 samples are grown out for Genetic Purity confirmation as pre or post control as may be relevant for the seed in question.
