Unicare softener works on Ion Exchange principle where strong acidic Cation Exchange Resin is used to replace hardness forming ions, such as Calcium and Magnesuim ions, with highly soluble Sodium ions. Eventually, the resin bed becomes saturated with the hardness forming minerals and must be cleaned and regenerated. A brine solution is drawn into the resin bed to release the accumulated minerals. The minerals and brine are rinsed away with fresh water and the regenerated resin is ready to soften the water again. The Unicare DM plant purifies water by removing extraneous mineral ions from input water. The process of ion-exchange is the reversible exchange of ions between a solid (synthetic resin) and a liquid in which there is no substantial change in the structure of the solid. As the water is passed through a series of resin beds, the ionic content is removed by chemical reaction. The result is chemically pure water, from the standpoint of freedom from ionic constituents, but non - electrolytes such as organic compounds and micro-organisms may not be removed. Advantages: Systems are manufactured from MSRL, FRP, SS 316, Mild Steel etc. Standard models are available for a flow rate of 50 LPH to 1, 00, 000 LPH. Offering Pressure Boosting System, a hydraulic booster. A hydro-pneumatic pressure booster system consists of an automatic pressure controlled pump and a pressure tank, which contains an air filled poly-ether-urethane (PEU) bladder. The water gets pumped in this tank that compresses it and pressurizes the bladder, which in turn maintains the desired pressure within the whole water system with PLC controlled. This automatic system requires no manual intervention and is built for low maintenance.
