About Us

Krishna Groups is a part of the famed Patel family tradition in wood business. The beginning of Krishna Saw Mill & Wood Works dates back to 1944. Our activities initially started as a part of a family partnership concern in Madras (Chennai) In TAMIL NADU dealing in wood raw material, imported and indigenous, catering to all applications of wood like furniture, construction (doors, windows, partitions and other forms of interior decoration, etc.) and sawing job works.

With the dawn of a new era in Indian history, this family tradition grew steadily on a strong foundation of hard work and business ethics.

As the family grew, there arose a need for expanding business into different fields with the vast experience gained in decades. In the early 1980s, Hosur (T.N), located near Bangalore (40 Km.) on the Tamilnadu-Karnataka border, was a fast upcoming center of major industrial activity with many large-scale industries setting up shop.

The family grabbed this opportunity and decided to step into a new field of wood for packing case applications.Krishna Saw Mill & Wood Works was thus established in Hosur in 1981.

To meet the increasing demand for good quality packing wood and better service to the growing number of industrial consumers, another sister concern, Krishna Packers was formed in 1991. Keeping in mind the need of industries, Krishna Packers offers total packaging solutions of all kinds to various types of Industries. The solutions offered mainly include on-site packaging contracts, specialized export packaging solutions as per international standards, other types of packaging material like corrugated packaging, high strength corrugated packaging, special strapping solutions, corrosion resistant VCI packaging, etc. Krishna Packers also offers manpower for handling in-plant activities like material handling, store management, primary packaging, etc.

With the increase in industrial activity in Hosur, there was also a sharp increase in population and in-turn a rose an increased demand for housing. To tap this opportunity, another concern, Shiva Hardware (1993) were also set up in central Hosur to deal in a variety of Industrials Tools, Power Tools, Hardware, furniture hardware, plywood, glass, paints, aluminum sections, sanitary ware, pipes & pipe fittings and Module Kitchen etc.

In addition to the above, we have also recently ventured into international business by carrying out export and import activities catering to various products in the U.S and European markets. This activity has been started in the name of“Synergy Global Sourcing” (2007) Hosur.
