CristolL-TPP is a versatile aryl phosphite, which is used as a stabilizer in many types of Paints, Coating, Inks, Epoxies etc. It is used to reduce the colour of the long oil Alkyd resin. These Alkyd resins constitute the most widely used resins in the manufacture of synthetic enamel paints.

Vegetable and non-vegetable triglyceride oils are the main ingredients in alkyds. Under the drastic manufacturing conditions for alkyds there is a possibility of the unsaturated fatty acid getting oxidized thereby producing an inferior colored and partly polymerized product. This ultimately affects the brightness, color and film properties of the final paint. The above defect can be overcome by using Cristol-TPP in the manufacturing of Alkyd Resins.

Cristol range of corrosion inhibitors is specially formulated to control corrosion in a wide range of petroleum production systems at a low cost to the operator. Corrosion is caused by a number of factors including:

• CO₂ (sweet corrosion).

• H₂S (sour corrosion).

• O_2.

• Bacteria.

• Acid Gases.

Many factors can influence the severity of corrosion such as:

• Temperature.

• Pressure.

• Hydro carbon/Brine ratios.

Cristol corrosion inhibitors are effective in controlling and/or eliminating corrosion in most water injection systems.

Cristol range of demulsifiers for petroleum refining consists of surface-active materials that promote the separation of water from oil. These de-emulsifiers are recommended for a wide variety of oil emulsions. They can be used in batch and continuous treatment. With careful bottle testing, our field representative can select the most economical de-emulsifier for a given system.

Cristol range of deoilers enhances bulk oil / water separation for the purpose of facilitating downstream oil removal. These deoilers are uniform liquids free from visible impurities and are soluble in water in all proportions. They separate two liquids having different specific gravities. They also separate and remove a range of oils from water including hydrocarbon oil and fuel, mineral oils, vegetable oils, animal fats and oils and fish oil.

Cristol-PPD EX Series is designed to make transportation of crude oil from the exploration site to the refinery smooth & trouble free. This series includes a range of flow improver chemistries, which have proven very effective in interacting with the wax crystal formation mechanism.
