K BOND SBL![]() K BOND SBL is a milky white water based dispersion of an acrylic co – polymer. The resulting product used as an admixture will improves the mechanical, chemical and water resistance properties of cementitious screeds and repair mortars. USES K BOND SBL may also be used as a bonding medium for placing cementitious mortar and concrete mixes onto concrete, masonry and brick substrates. KBOND SBL is a single pack product supplied in plastic containers ready for site use. It can be used as a waterproofing in tank. It can be used external rendering. KBOND SBL to be used Bonding of cementitious screeds Floor screeds and repairs. ADVANTAGES
PROPERTIES COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH : Up to 60 N/mm2 depends on cement used and workability ; TENSILE STRENGTH : Up to 5.0 N/mm2 depends on cement used and workability ; FLEXURAL STRENGTH : Up to 10 N/mm depends on cement used and workability ; FREEZE THAW RESISTANCE : Excellent ; WATER VAPOR PERMEABILITY : Less than 4 gm/m /24hr., Through 11 mm thick test piece ; ADHESION : Excellent to concrete, steel, brick etc. ; CHEMICAL RESISTANCE : Resists mild acids, alkalies, sulphates, chlorides, urine, dung, lactic acid, sugar, etc.; SHRINKAGE DURING CURE : 0.01% to 0.02%. CHLORIDE/ SULPHATE / NITRATE / THIOSULPHATE CONTENT : Nil. APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS SURFACE PREPARATION : All surfaces must be free from oil, dirt, grease and loosely adhering materials. Chip off all loose concrete until reach to sound and clean reinforcements with wire brush to remove loose scales. Clean with jet of water to remove loose particles, dust etc., APPLICATION : Mixing and Application of the Cementitious Topping Two mix designs are given below: Mix 1 Repair mortar with improved the mechanical, chemical and water resistance properties.

PACKING & COVERAGE KBOND SBL is supplied in 1 ltr, 5 ltr., 50 ltr., 100 ltr., and 200 ltr. Coverage 6 to 8 m2 per litre. As a bonding agent. SHELF LIFE 12 months storage life when stored in original unopened container at between 5 ºC to 45 ºC in a dry and shaded place. HEALTH & SAFETY KBOND SBL is non-hazardous. It should not be swallowed or allowed to come into contact with skin or eyes. Suitable protective goggles and gloves should be worn. In the case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately, do not induce vomiting. K SCREED MICRO![]()
DESCRIPTION K SCREED MICRO is supplied as a ready-to-use, blend of dry powders which requires only the site addition of water to produce a free flowing, non-shrink repair micro concrete. The materials is based on Portland cements, graded aggregates, fillers and additives which impart controlled expansion characteristics in the plastic state while minimising water demand. The low water requirement ensures high early strength and long-term durability, For larger repairs, the mixed K SCREED MICRO may be modified by the addition of 12 mm clean, graded, saturated, surface dry aggregates at site. SURFACE PREPARATION : The unrestrained surface of the repair must be kept to a minimum. Defective concrete surface must be cut back to a sound base. Smooth surface should be mechanically roughed. Corroded reinforcement should be exposed around its full circumference and remove all loose scale and corrosion deposits. Apply one coat of SAFECORE R to the exposed reinforcement. If any discontinuity in the applied film is noticed, one more coat has to be applied. The concrete substrates should be saturated with water. Prior to immediate placing. Free water should be removed and prime the substrate using K BOND EP, a slow setting epoxy bonding aid. K BOND EP shall be applied on dry substrate. FORMWORK : Formwork should be leak-proof when subjected to hydraulic pressure imposed by the micro concrete will be fabricated and erected where necessary, provision will be made for air vents to prevent air entrapment, drainage outlets for presoaking. Formwork should be coated with SHUTRELEASE, mould releasing agent prior to fixing. MIXING AND PLACING : Care should be taken to ensure that K SCREED MICRO is thoroughly mixed. K SCREED MICRO mix in suitably sized drum with a torque (400-500 RPM) rotary drill fitted with a mixing paddle. Where the addition of graded aggregate has been specified it should be added after the water and K SCREED MICRO are properly mixed. PLACING : The mixed material should be placed immediately. If placed by pump, standard concrete pumping should be followed. CURING : Curing should start within 2 hours and minimum curing time should same as that for concrete (7 days) as a cementitious material. Low temperature: In cold conditions down to 15 oc, the use of warm water (up to 30o C) is advisable to accelerate strength development. KBOND EPX![]() With the help of latest technology, we are able to offer Epoxy Based Concrete Bonding Agent (K BOND EPX) that is widely appreciated by our clients for high adhesive strength and chemical resistance. This easy to apply bonding agent helps in repairing damp surfaces of bond renders, screeds and precast concrete sections. Salient features:
