Universal Folding Machine

Heavy duty motorised universal edging bending and folding machine ideally suitable for many simple and complex bending operations in sheet metal industries, having raising and lowering of the upper beam is carried out by means of threaded spindles running on gun metal bushes and ball bearing which are powered by reduction gear and electric motor to ensure that the sheet metal plates are always clamped firmly over their entire working width. The opening width of the upper beam is made large enough to allow section foring blades with a high step to be used.Operation of the bending leaf is carried out by means of a reduction gear with motor. This is controlled from a push button or suspended control panel. Limit switches are fitted for angle setting with in a maximum of 0° to 180° Adjustment of the bending leaf is made by two small hand wheels. The clamping beam is adjustable, and made to allow the use of specially radiused bars which can produce large raddi on sheet metal components. The clamping beam and bending leaf are constructed in such a way that, the clamping beam and bending leaf are constructed in such away that, the required angles are constant throughout their length. Standard equipments includes electric motors, starter, control panel board suitable for operation on AC.440/3/50electric supply and one sharp taper blade.
