Presenting the ALTOSONIC V12 KROHNE launches the new generation of ultrasonic gas flowmeters for custody transfer applications. The ALTOSONIC V12 sets new standards for accuracy and cost efficiency. The flowmeter has twelve measurement chords of which two are reserved exclusively for diagnostic functions.
The layout of the measuring chords on each of the five parallel levels compensates for any turbulence and therefore guarantees reliable measurement results even with turbulent flow profiles. The diagnostic reliable detect any deposits, dirt or changes in surface roughness and the maintanance can be adapted to actual requirement.
The conductivity sensor ACM 500 with stainless steel connecting head is a compact system designed for measurement of inductive conductivity. Its small and compact design allows installation in pipelines sized DN 40 or 1.5" and higher. With its optimized flow geometry and extremely fast response time, it is particularly suitable for applications in the field of product separation (e.g. beer - beer), phase separation of cleaning agents and shortening the transition phase of CIP systems. The HWN 500 hygienic process welding sleeve ensures hygienic installation.

EHEDG-approved measuring instrument The H250 Food flowmeter is a further development of the tried and tested all-metal instrument and was especially designed for use in the food and pharmaceutical industry. It is used to measure liquids, gases and saturated steam. It features a hygienic surface with a surface finish of Ra < 0.8 ?m as well as a design free of dead spaces. The only EHEDG-certified variable area flowmeter approved for the food and pharmaceutical industry features smooth stainless steel surfaces with a surface roughness of the parts in contact with the medium of < 0.8 ?m, which makes it difficult for deposits to stick and easy to clean. Combined with a design devoid of dead spaces and stagnation zones, microorganisms cannot stick and multiply.
All-metal flowmeter featuring design devoid of dead spaces
Designs for special installation positions (H250H / H250U) Variable area flowmeters-generally feature a vertically positioned measuring cone through which the medium flows from bottom to top, raising a float against the weight. If the installation structure does not permit it otherwise, the versions H250H for horizontal or H250U for reverse installation position (from top to bottom) are used. The reset force lacking in the weight of the float is replaced by a tongue.

Presenting the OPTISONIC V6 , KROHNE launches the new generation of ultrasonic gas flowmeters for non-custody transfer applications. The OPTISONIC V6 sets new standards in accuracy and cost-effectiveness. This novel flow meter has been specially developed for applications in the production of natural gas and for gas suppliers' city gates and transfer stations. Its rugged construction makes it ideally suitable for use in extreme environments, such as offshore platforms.
The unique combination of parallel measuring chords and reflection chords compensates for any turbulence and therefore guarantees reliable measurement results even with turbulent flow profiles.
KROHNE has separated the information on the flow from the information on the diagnostics. This data is transmitted directly to the user via two separate signal outputs. Continuous monitoring of the diagnosis data via a web server is being developed which will permit remote maintenance of the meter by KROHNE. The diagnostics in the OPTISONIC V6 reliably indicates deposits, contamination or changes in wall roughness so that maintenance can be scheduled according to the actual needs. Applications
Offshore FPSO and platforms
Onshore exploration
Onshore exploration
Transmission
Underground gas storage (UGS)
Distribution
Large gas intakes, for example for power stations, petrochemical industry, aluminum melters, etc.
For particularly rough environmental conditions, the M9 indicator housing is optionally available in stainless steel.
This guarantees its reliable use in corrosive atmospheres caused by operational immissions. When installed outdoors, external influences such as salt fog or contaminated precipitation no longer lead to corrosion. The stainless steel housing is equally well-suited for use in splash water zones such as in the food and luxury food industry.
At KROHNE, it is the modular design on the one hand and the flexible production structure on the other that form the basis for application and customer-related special variants
From universal to one-of-a-kind: The H250 variable area flowmeters from KROHNE have the entire range of requirements in the process industry covered.
Electromagnetic flowmeter for partially filled pipes
Measurement in partially filed pipes up to DN 1600 / 64"
Patented, non-contact level measurement
Measurement possible down to 10% filling of pipe
Abrasion resistant liner
No on-site calibration necessary
TIDALFLUX flowmeters with integrated and non-contact capacitive level measuring system provides accurate flow measurement in partially filled pipes. TIDALFLUX is designed to measure reliably between 10% and 100% of the pipe cross section. The integrated level sensors behind the liner are in no contact with the liquid and are therefore insensitive against fat and oil swimming on the surface.
Applications
For partially filled pipes instead of expensive siphon tube constructions
OPTIFLUX overcomes the drawbacks of some SIL2-certified equipment: detects errors unrecognised under SIL2 indicates erroneous results in the application (e.g. because of gas bubbles), which SIL2 cannot do show up errors in accuracy and linearity, again unseen by SIL2 The 3 x 100% diagnostics in OPTIFLUX is, therefore, much better for you than a normal SIL2 certified meter.
he unique rectangular flow sensor design with rectangular cross-section allows for a significant reduction of magnetic field excitation. The coils are arranged so that a strong, homogeneous magnetic field is formed. The measurement is therefore independent of the flow profile and measurements are very stable. This results in a very good low flow performance and allows the operation without inlet and outlet runs.
The Rilsan® liner of the flow sensor is highly resistant to pressure or vacuum, to corrosion and aging. The coating is widely used in the water industry and accepted for potable water applications according to ACS, DVGW, KTW, NSF and WRc.
The optional data logger and GSM module allows for remote meter reading and wireless transmission of measurement data and status information.
Battery operated, stand alone water meter; Battery life up to 15 years
Excellent performance in low flow conditions and over wide flow range
Easy installation, short inlet and outlet runs, no filters and bi-directional flow
Subsoil installation (IP68 + additional protective coating), Installation in chambers is not required)
Maintenance-free operation, no moving parts, no wear and obstruction free
