About UsThe kepco was registered under the companies act-1956 in 1989 as a fully owned government of kerala undertaking. The main objective of the corporation is to develop the poultry & poultry products in the state. This includes production & processing of poultry, duck, quail, rabbit, game birds, etc, their products, buy-products, their food, equipments, etc. Corporation is also implementing central & state government schemes as a part of food security and for A. The augmentation of egg production b. Increasing meat production c. Providing employment to women beneficiaries of the schemes d. Eradication of malnutrition e. Empowerment of women in the state, etc? Till the year 2006-07, the corporation was running in loss. But 2007-08 onwards the corporation is making operational profit every year. Presently the corporation is running in profit after wipe out the accumulated loss of rs. 527. 96 lakhs incurred till 31st march-2007. |
