Thermocouple Protection Tubes offered by us are used in high temperature processes that generate demand for reliable components. These find application in industrial furnace applications up to 1800°C and provide desired protection against corrosive atmosphere and protect thermocouple sensors against mechanical damages.

With these tubes fine grained, impervious and non-porous in nature, these possess following attributes:

Construction:

• The choice of thermocouple tube material depends upon environment of its application
• Depending on their properties, Alumina or Mullite is used where these are best suited
• Our Mullite (silica/alumina) protection tubes have excellent thermal shock resistance as well as good mechanical strength characteristics
• In oxidizing atmosphere, generally Mullite is a better choice
• These provide a low-cost option in comparison to alumina

Tubes for Heating Coil offered by us are based on Mullite that are high performance materials used during construction of furnaces with heating coils. Its features include good mechanical strength (even in case of impervious, thin walled tubes) and capability to withstand temperatures up to 1550°C. Other features include:

• Good thermal shock resistance
• High electrical resistivity even at high temperature
• No reaction with heating element

Our Mullite composition based Combustion Boats offer desired resistance to thermal shocks and are highly effective in corrosive environments. These are used for melting metals as well as for measuring carbon and sulphur percentage in steel in combustion tubes of muffle furnace of carbon and sulphur apparatus.

These combustion boats are used in Metal Testing Laboratory & Steel Plants; Alloy & Stainless Steel Industries, Cast iron and other work areas. The temperature withstanding capacity of these combustion boats is 1600º C.

Thermocouple Beads offered by us are made of pure Alumina/ Mullite compositions and are used to insulate thermocouple conductor wires inserted inside thermocouple tubes. Our insulators have good electric insulation properties even at higher temperatures (up to 1800°C) so as to provide correct reading in measuring instruments and preventing pollution of metals with silicon. The advantages of using these pure alumina thermocouple beads can be attributed to following features:

As these insulators are manufactured using high purity ceramics, it allows making of thermocouples that are extremely accurate. Further, we can make available a wide range of single bore, twin bore and four bore sleeves that are available ex stock in standard sizes. Apart from these, we can also provide variations like solid round rods and multi-bore beads in custom designs and sizes on special requests.

Rectangular muffles offered by us are best suited for inside refractory casings of muffle furnaces that operate up to temperatures of 1600°C. These find application in baking, calcining, incinerating, pre-heating as well as in drying analytic samples. Some of the industries where these are used include ceramics, steel, chemicals, electronics and others.
