Kunnam Granite Works was established in 1987 at Chennai, India to initially promote quarrying and export of premium black granite blocks from the legendary ''Kunnam'' Village (about 150 kms from Chennai) for the Japanese monument markets. From very modest beginnings, the firm has taken giant strides and developed its product-mix to include a variety of color granites and other hand dressed products. Granite blocks are currently being exported to Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Poland and Spain in Europe besides Mainland China, Taiwan & Japan in the Far East.

We, at Kunnam Granite Works, have always held as our single most important business credo that we should strive to provide what that the customer desires. Our business transactions reflect this attitude in spirit and form. On the financial side, this customer driven initiative has helped us notch good sales figures consistently helping the firm bag awards and certificates from the Government of India for meritorious export performances.
