Limited Warranty

We give warranty to the original product purchaser that each supplied product will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use & service within a period of one year from the date of purchase. Our warranty does not apply to accessories, IC’s fuses, fusible resistors, spark gaps, batteries or any product which, in the opinion of the company, has been misused, altered, neglected or damaged by accident and abnormal conditions of operation or handling.

To obtain warranty service, contact the nearest authorized dealer of the company or send the product, with proof of purchase and description of the difficulty, postage and insurance prepaid, to 'Kusam- Meco'. We assume no risk for damage in transit. Further, we will, at its option, repair or replace the defective product free of charge. However, if the company determines that the failure was caused by misused, altered, neglected, or damaged by accident or abnormal conditions of operation or handling, you will be billed for the repair.

This warranty is exclusive and is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose or use. We will not be liable for any special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

The company warrants to the importer for a period of 12 months from the date (week) of supply to further cover the importer's transportation and inventory period. The date (week) of supply is very close to the bill date as per our build to order practice. In most cases, the warranty claims are only out of minor problems like open fusible resistors, open fuses, out of calibration, or even low battery conditions.

The user has to return them to the company in consolidated shipment with freight prepaid for repairing. We will repair them and then return the instruments upon our warranty terms. In case the returned units are out of the scope of the company warranty terms, we will charge importer for the repairing labor and component costs. Any dealer/customer wanting to avail post-warranty calibration services should forward the meters to “Kusam- Meco”, Mumbai at their cost & risk along with calibration charges. The meters so received will be calibrated and sent back.
