Capacitors are Self healing type with self disconnector & catagarised in three types
G-VAR,X-VAR & S-VAR.
G-VAR a new type excellent capacitor in cylindrical aluminium casess suitable for general applications. Capacitor is filled with special protection gas,so there no risk of fire caused by spurting of leaking oil. Dry design for ecologically sensetive applications & insurence fallow up. The capacitor have losses 0.25W/ KVAR,useful life,temp.range -35C to 55 C. As per IEC831-1(2), EN60831-1,2, VDE0560-46,47, GB12747-91, CE.This capacitor scan easily handel inrush currents upto 200 times rated current. After a long drying with high vaccum to eliminute moisture all the active element. The capacitor is impregented. The case is filled with special protective gas & sealed,Imported from Germany.
X-VAR- this also the same in construction like G-VAR having losses 0.2W/KVAR temp. range -25 deg C to 45 deg C. As per IEC 831-1(2) CEI EN 60831-1/2.

Electronic Ballasts & Energy Efficient Lighting Systems.
"Kwality" make electronic ballasts are developed on the basis of the latest technological& component standards & are produced using state-of-the-art technology, whereby consideration is taken of our customers quality standards in our quality assurance system. KPL electronic ballasts are designed for mains voltages of 220V to 240V & are used to operate fluorescent lamps at high frequency (20-50kHz).The lamps are ignited with an internally generated ignition voltage,thereby removing the need for an external starter. The power factor (l)>0.95 also removes the need for compensation, unlike with electromagnetic ballasts. The only exceptions are low-output ELXs models, which attain a power factor of 0.6. Luminaires fitted with electronic ballasts are characterised by low energy consumption as they have substantially lower system power than conventional, inductive applications. This is firstly because the lamp consumes less power to achieve the same luminous flux and secondly the internal loss of an electronic ballast only amounts to approx. 8% to 10% of the lamp´s output. Furthermore, thanks to their modern circuitry, the power input of KPL electronic ballasts remains constant even in the event of mains voltage fluctuations, thus ensuring permanently low energy consumption.

Harmonics are sinusoidal wave forms. They have frequency in multiples of fundamental frequency. They are produced by equipment using frequency conversion technology. They are also generated due to power drawing pattern of non- linker loads.

Fire Extinguisher Balls
Fire Extinguishing Ball is a ball shaped fire extinguisher. Simply thrown into a fire, it will activate within 3--5 sec. & effectively disperse fire—extinguishing chemicals. Variable Frequency Drivers
KPL proudly offers a premier intelligent variable frequency drive (VFD), integrated with a reliable bypass configuration. KPL VFD's are specifically engineered to work seamlessly on all KPL evaporative cooling equipment. A variable frequency drive eliminates the large starting inrush current of the compressor by ramping up voltage and
Frequency in a controlled time period. This allows running on limited dockside power, and also protects the generator from Overloading addition to eliminating inrush, the VFD will also run a compressor at 60Hz, even when input power is 50Hz, which allows full KPL capacity performance (230V only). The drive also protects the compressor by monitoring input voltage and output current, and will shut down if a power supply problem is sensed.
