Magnetic Drive Systems

• The Magnetic Drive works on the principle of “Transmitting Torque in Air”. Their main advantage is that there is no material connection between the torque transmitting components.
• Designed for “ZERO LEAKAGE” Operation. Intrinsically safe design by complete elimination of Mechanical Seals & Gland Seals.
• No Mechanical Seal support system to monitor or maintain.
• Complete SEALLESS Design by the introduction of HERMETICALLY SEALED Metallic Isolation Shell/Shroud, which has to be continuously cooled with the use of Standard Coolants (DOT3/DOT4) @ 10°C – 15°C Temperature. Process media remains where they belong inside the System.
• The stuffing box is completely eliminated
• There is no physical connection between the motor shaft and the Fan shaft. The same is achieved by the Magnetic Drive. This prevents leakage of the Process media.
• The cost of maintenance is substantially lower since the permanent Magnets used have a very long life.
