Hysteresis Graph

Hysteresis Graph

Hysteresis graph Model BH 8000 is a high precision system for plotting Hysteresis Curves on both hard and soft magnetic materials.

It is simple to operate and does not need any special skills or knowledge of electronics. It plots a BH curve in less than 20 seconds.

The measurement of induction (B ir B-H) is accomplished by means of a search coil which can be:
  • Wound around the sample itself
  • Wound around a bobbin which encloses the sample
  • Embedded into the pieces of the electromagnet
The search coil output is fed into the electronic indicator, which continuously integrates the signal and feeds it through the control panel to the Y axis if the XY recorder.

The Coercive Force (Hc) is measured by the Hall gauss meter. The Hall probe drives the gauss meter whose signal passes through the control panel to drive the X axiz of the XY recorder.

Fluxmeter Accessories

Fluxmeter Accessories

Flux meter accessories  like search coils tor use with FM 110 and FM201 fluxmeter are available in area turns of 10. 100 and 1000 The overall dimensions of the cods are 150 x 1E 3mm with the coil placed at the end. A 1.5 m cable is provided at the other end for connecting the coil to the flux meter Search coils can also be custom made for suit their specific applications.

Potential coils are very useful to measure the magnetic potential of any magnetic assembly This measurement helps in designating the optimum sizes of different components of the magnetic assembly.

The potential are available in two size:

PC-205
5mm Dia. X 200 L
PC-308
8mm Dia x 300 L

Reference Magnet

Reference Magnet

These reference magnets are made of AL-Ni-Co permanent magnets and are used to calibrate Hall effect gauss meters. They are stabilized during production to guard against irreversible losses resulting from temperature changes and external magnetic fields. They are suitable for transverse Hall Probes of dimensions 10 x 5 x 2 mm and are calibrated with primary standards . These magnets are available with the following flux densities.

For transverse Hall Probes : 1, 3, 5 Kilogauss nominal value.
For Axial Hall Probes : 1 Kilogauss.

Accuracy:

  • Within +5% of the nominal value. Individual magnet is designated with the actual flux density within + 1% at 25*C
Magnetic Stability:

  • Magnets will not be permanently affected by stray fields below 150 Gauss
Temperature Stability:

  • +0,0,% per *C between -10*C and 100*C

Dimensions:

  • Dia 70mm and 70mm long with 10mm dia aperture

Helmholtz Coils

Helmholtz Coils

Helmholtz coils consist of two identical "thin coils, separated by a distance equal to the radius of the coil The two coils are connected in sense and further connected to a flux meter. Using this configuration one can measure the open circuit magnetization of magnets of high coei-cive force such as Ferrite, Rare earth. Cobalt and Nd-Fe-Bo magnets Measurements made with potential and Helmholtz coils allow us to construct the second quadrant magnetization curve of these magnets.

Helmholtz coils are available in two sizes:

HC-60
