Biological Safety cabinet provides personnel, environmental and product protection in applications involving biological agents. These cabinets have been designed for safe handling of Cytotoxic drugs , so as to keep the work environment safe and clean from pollutants.

Biological Safety Cabinet are equipped with three filters. There are constantly two filters operating in series providing dual air filtration. The design of biological Safety Cabinet permits easy and safe service.

Different types of bio-safety cabinets are designed to suit different requirements. This cabinets are defined by class and again by type based on their construction, airflow velocities & patterns and by their exhaust system..

Filtered laminar air flow which is re-circulated in the work zone creates an ultra clean work environment for product protection. A room air barrier at front opening at the front opening prevents escape of pathogens into the worker's area.

The down flow together with room air inflow are filtered under the work surface to ensure non contaminated area inside the cabinet and long lifetime for exhaust and down flow filters.

Applications

Dispensing booths are based on re-circulation of air. The material dispensed is sucked in a natural pattern of moments and blocked through pre-filters of 5 macrons. Then the air passes through a microvee filter and finally re-circulates through the HEPA filter, providing class 100 laminar movement of air.
Dispensing booths are used for dispensing of powder and chemicals, thus minimizing the risk of contamination within the work area and ensuring the health of the operating personnel.
They are available in different material of construction , like metallic epoxy powder coated and stainless steel.

The cabinat works on the principle of double filtration of air. The room air will be drawn through pre filter of 5 microns and will pass through HEPA filter with effecience rating as high as 99.97% with DOP thus retainig all air borne particles of size 0.3 microns and larger. The HEPA and pre filters filters will be provided with a saifty grill of SS(304) to prevent accidental damage. The double filter air will be blow in laminar flow with a designed velocity of 100ft/min + 20% using an electric motor of 1/3 rd H.P. of G.E. Make proper care will taken by mounting the blower on anti vibration suspension system to maintain the noise level. The blower units will also be made out of Stainless Steel. Unit will also have one no of Megnahealic Guage.

Table top exhaust hoods or the so called "Spot Extraction Systems" are designed to remove the fumes from various spots within the work zone. Thus creating a clean area free of fumes and obnoxious substances.

Designed to meet the latest GLP requirements, the table top exhaust hoods are suspended from the ceiling and thus removing the fumes without occupying the table space. Several such units can be designed to work at a time using a single blower assembly.
