The compressed air is stored in reservoir of each vehicle. The control Valve/Distributor Valve governs the flow of the compressed air into and out of the brake cylinder. This in turn is actuated by the brake pipe pressure, which runs throughout the length of the Train. The pressure in the brake pipe is controlled by the drivers brake valve. The pressure in the brake pipe is normally kept at 5Kg/cm2. Brake application occurs when the pressure in the brake pipe suddenly reduces.

FRP unit is well equipped to produce different FRP items .FRP items manufactured by composite Moulding Process and Resin Transfer Moulding Process.We have also facilities of Blow Moulding Process for HDPE.

Nearly five hundred components are manufactured by the organization through fabrication for different railway bogie and wagon.
