Operating from its registered office in Thane, the core business of LANXESS India is the development, manufacturing and sale of specialty chemicals, plastics, rubber and intermediates. LANXESS India has sales offices in Thane, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai and production sites in Jhagadia, Madurai and Nagda.
LANXESS India manufactures leather chemicals, specialty rubber and material protection products at its factory in Madurai and basic chemicals at its Nagda site.
In March 2010, LANXESS India has completed the first construction phase of its new site in Jhagadia, Gujarat state. The production of the rubber chemicals plant has started up, as planned, after being relocated from Thane, Maharashtra state. The construction of the ion exchange resins plant at the site in Jhagadia is on schedule. |
