Features of our counter flow coolers: it is a rectangular chamber made of ss-304 construction having an air- lock on top for entrance of material without air escape and a triple-grid-gate for discharge of material. a stationary or rotating product distributor is installed to evenly distribute the entering product over product bed. A uniform bed height is maintained inside the chamber which can be increased or decreased to control the retention time by altering the position of level sensor which also initiates discharging mechanism. atmospheric air is sucked through the product layer by i. D. Fan which has butterfly valve to control the optimum volume of air required for cooling. Air can also be controlled by using a variable frequency a. C. Drive by altering the rpm of blower. the exhaust air is hot & moist and carries the dust particles with it. Dust is removed from exhaust air by installation of a cyclone. It works on the principle of centrifugal forces. This has an air lock below it. it is very essential to separate dust (fine feed) from exhaust air to avoid shrinkage and air pollution. Properly designed cyclone with air lock at bottom deliver clean air to atmosphere.
Crumbling is the process of breaking pellets in small pieces by passing these through rolls rotating at different speeds having grooves on surface. After the hot pellets are cooled to the ambient teprature, the pellets may require breaking into small pieces to feed day-old chicks and grower flock.
Crumbler is equipped with gap adjustment between rolls to get required particle size of feed. One roll is fixed and is driving one while other is moveable for gap adjustment. The movable Roll is spring loaded to protect the rolls from any foreign object coming with feed.
Crumbler is also supplied with pellet spreader for full width feeding and rotary feeder for uniform feeding for optimum crumbling performance with minimum fines.
Every Crumbler is fitted with by-pass mechanism to opt for passing through with or without crumbling.

Conditioning is a process in which heat, moisture & liquid is introduced to the feed. It consist of a single or double barrel in which one or two agitators revolve & perform the blending action. The retention time in conditioner can be controlled either by varying the speed of the agitator or changing the angle of agitating blades. It has been generally recognized that proper conditioning will provide following changes: product becomes more pliable for pelleting which results higher output with low power consumption, better pellet quality and enhanced die life. Increase starch gelatinization. Increased feed temperature promotes the reduction of harmful bacteria such as salmonella.
our bagging machine is designed for automatic filling of material in open mouth bags. The machine is net filling type and in this, material to be bagged is weighed in a weigh hopper and is emptied into bag.

feeder
depending on material characteristic suitable feeder - gravity feeder, single screw, double screw, flat belt or viberator type feeder is used for feeding material from storage hopper to weigh hopper. For animal feed generally gravity feeder is used. Coarse and fine feed arrangement is provided for controlling accurate flow of material.
weigh hopper
the weigh hopper is carefully designed with consideration of volume and angle of repose of different materials. The weigh hopper is mounted on load cells, which sense the weight of material in the weigh hopper. The weigh hopper is of enclosed design for dust free operation and aspiration connection is provided for dust collection.
pneumatic bag clamps
the bag clamp is mounted below the weigh hopper and is operated pneumatically. Rubber liners are provided to the clamp are and avoid slippage of bags. A lever switch is provided near the bag chute for operator to clamp the bag.
structure
the machine is fitted on a separate steel structure to isolate the vibration of main structure, transfer to weigh hopper to avoid inaccuracy in weighing and is connected to overhead bin through a flexible connection.

it generally consists of two set of proportioning bins with individual weighing hopper scale, one for major ingredients and second for micro ingredients. There may be any no. Of bin from 2 to 20 for each set with suitable capacity and higher accuracy of weighing is required for micro ingredients. Auto weighing of liquids, fat, and oil can also be incorporated to the mixer.
Double ribbom screw mixer with side outlet is suitable for direct bagging from mixer and where mixer is normally installed at ground floor level. construction these mixers consists of u-shaped horizontal trough in which a heavy duty shaft with two ribbons in helix shape at different pitch circle diameter are mounted with the help of arms. the ribbon helix is so shaped that when inside mixing shaft rotates, one ribbon pushes the material in one side while at same time other ribbon pushes the material opposite side. so, particles inside the mixer are given very fast movement and homogenous mix is achieved.
