( Injector System ) Single Line Parallel System

( Injector System ) Single Line Parallel System

Single main line runs from pump tp farthest Metering valve or injector directly or in branches / sections.

Lubricant output from pump reaches each metering valve or injector directly from main line.Pressure and flow from the pump forces spring loaded plunger in the valve to move, dispensing metered quantity of lubricant from measuring chamber to bearing.

After Injectors are operated , further increase in the pressure stalls the pump or pressure switch, if provided sends signal. Then venting cycle starts by relieving the pressurized main & branch lines and thus make all Injectors ready for next cycle.


SELECTION

This system is ideal for applications where,
a) Large variation in lubricant quantity requirement and individual monitoring for each bearing desired.
b) Individual adjustment of lubricant quantity desired even during system in use.
c) Complex applications with variety of points at odd locations.

Grease Spray System

Grease Spray System

Special adhesive lubricant is pumped by Motorised or Pneumatic pump which is supplied to Progressive metering device through unit of Filter & Safety valve. Lubricant Distributor in turn supplies metered quantity of lubricant to Spray Nozzles.

In case of 'Unmonitored' Spray Nozzles air is made available to nozzles as soon as Pump stroke ( normally Pneutmatic pump ) is given; i.e. lubricant is dispensed .Air & lubricant gets mixed and a fine atomized spray of specific size is achieved on contact area of tooth flank of pinion/ gear. In this system, lubricant is monitored through Limit switch and air is monitored through pressure switch installed after the last nozzle. A special hydro - pneumatic Valve facilitates Control of Lubricant & Air over each other.

Whereas in case of "Monitored" Nozzles, air is always made available at nozzles as long as Pump ( Motorised or Pneumatic) is on. Progressive dosing of lubricant from Distributor operates respective nozzles. The nozzle doesn't operate unless air and lubricant both are available & at right pressure. Limit or Proximity switch on each nozzle sends electrical signal.
SELECTION

This system is specially used for : 1) Lubrication of large heavily loaded open gears of ball mills/ Kiln with special adhesive lubricant. 2) Lubrication of Gears racks & pinions sliding or rubbing surfaces.

1) Open gear drives of Cement Mill, Raw Mill,Coal Mill & Klins.

2) Chain Conveyers.

3) High Temperature, inaccessible moving parts.

Multi Line System

Multi Line System

Multiline systems basically comprise of Multioutlet pumps having each outlet directly connected to individual bearings.Metered quantity of lubricant is supplied to each bearing from integral reservoir of pump.

Pump output is adjustable infinitely in case of 15 & 30 outlet pumps. A check valve fitted at each outlet ensures positive dispensing of Lubricant.

Motorised pumps with different gear ratios can be selected as per lubricant viscosity & output requirements.

A combination of Multioutlet pump with progressive distributors offers system extension to great extent.

SELECTION

These systems are commonly used for, a) Individual machines or small group of machines where each points needs relatively large quantity of lubricant. b) Oil or Grease upto NLGI class-3. c) Different groups of bearings far away from each other. d) Variable quantity of lubricant for different groups is desired.

Progressive System

Progressive System

Entire output from the pump is supplied to the bearings by dividing it proportionately by PROGRESSIVE DISTRIBUTOR/ METERING DEVICE ,irrespective of varying pipe lengths and / or bearing back pressures.

Peculiarity of this system is, that unless metered quantity of lubricant is delivered from one particular outlet; lubricant can't be delivered from next outlet.This sequential operation makes the system SELF MONITORING type.Thus monitoring of any single outlet is as good as monitoring whole system.

This system is very flexible.With various types of pumps and progressive distributors upto 784 points can be centralized with grease or oil as lubricant.In case of oil, it can be TOTAL LOSS or RECIRCULATING type lubrication system
SELECTION

This system is ideally suited for:
1) Machine with lubricant quantity per unit time per point is predetermined.
2) Machine with lubrication points in possible groups.
3) Common monitoring of all points is desired.

Two Lines System

Two Lines System

A high volume single outlet Pump, 2/4 way change over Valve or Reverser, Metering Devices,End of line signalling system are mandatory components of this system.In dual line parallel system pressure is constant but flow varies.

In this, lubricant (normally grease) is suppied by Central Pump to Change Over Valve which in turn supplies the same alternately to two parallel main lines. Each metering device connected to these main lines gets charged alternately and dispense metered quantity of lubricant through its outlet arranged parallel to each main line.
After last metering device is operated, a signal is received by Change-over valve to interchange the supply and return lines. The cycle is continously repeated.


SELECTION

This system in selected normally for grease applications where :
- Bearings are sequencially located over long distance.
- Distance between group of bearings is very long.
- Lubricant quantity requirement per bearing is relatively high and varies from bearing to bearing.
- Indiviual control of bearings/group is desired.
- No. of bearings to be centralised is large. (Say upto 1000 pts)

Chassis Lubrication System

A system when installed on any machine , feeds predetermined quantity of lubricant ( Oil or Grease) to each and every bearing / centralized , irrespective of varying back pressure , at predetermined intervals is known as lubrication system.

As vehicle manufacture design the vehicle bearings for grease lubrication, the system offered by Lubin Engineering is "Chassis Grease Lubrication System".

Typical system comprises of positive displacement pump with reservoir,Meeting valves or Distributors / Injectors ,piping & fittings.depending on the automation desired,Manual or Pneumatic or Motorized pump along with push button or Time controller can be selected.

Chassis Lubrication system is to be mounted on each vehicle chassis(on board type ) and thus lubricates all the bearings covered in no time and even while vehicle is running.

OPTIONS

1) Manually operated system needs only 4-6 strokes day of pumps.
2) Pneumatically operated through solenoid valve (air supply taken from vehicle air tank)
3) Motorized (12/24 VDC supply taken from vehicle battery)
4) Semi automatic-i.e. (pneumatic pump to be operated by push button)
5) Fully automatic-cyclic timer would operate the system at predetermined intervals.
6) Visual monitoring of cycle operation and reservoir (std).
7) Electrical monitoring of cycle operation and reservoir level (optional).

Oil Lubrication System

The applications with high speed rotation of bearings wherein heat dissipation is essential or Lubricant is expected to claen the bearings, Oil is preferred lubricant over grease.

There are "total loss" type systems and "Recirculating" type systems wherein oil is recollected.Oil systems are used for hydrostatic and hydrodynamic lubrication of heavily loaded bearings.

TOTAL LOSS SYSTEMS

In these systems oil flow is quite less.Dosing pumps with metering valves are used to feed qty of oil to various bearings intermitteately.These systems are similar to grease systems and are popularly used for Machine Tools,Shears, Presses & Sugar Mills.

RECIRULATING SYSTEMS

These systems are low pressure,high volume type & employees gear or vane pumps in combination with various valves & heat exchanger. Oil is fed to all bearings through common pipeline & is recollected thereafter and returned to reservoir after cooling in heat exchanger.

These systems find application is paper mills, turbines, steel Rooling Mills, Gear Box Bearings. etc.

PREJACKING SYSTEMS

A combination of high pressure & low pressure systems is used for lifting shafts of heavily loaded bearings like Mills/Kilns/ in Cement/ Turbines power plant during starting & stopping(Hydrostatic lubrication) and later for lubrication during normal operation ( Hydrodynamic Lubrication ).

Auto Lubrication System for Earthmoving Equipments

On putting "Ignition Key" of the equipment "ON" , 24 VDC supply to control Unit is given and pump is started along with "ON" Timer. At the same time vent valve coil is energized to connect pump outlet to main supply line.

While pump runs, system pressure is built up till all Injectors are operated (Which is approx. 120 bar but depends upon system configuration). When Injector operates ,it delivers metered qty of lubricant as per its setting,to the connected Progressive Distributor which in turn delivers through its outlets according to input quantity received from Injector and its own specified output/outlet/cycle. When Injector operates ,Limit Switch attached to it sends signal to control unit.

The "ON' time is normally slightly higher than actual time required for completion of one cycle which depends on configuration of particular system.On expiry of "ON" time,pump stops,Vent Valve is deenergised and OFF timer starts counting "OFF" time. Denergisation of vent valve relives system pressure to zero thus enabling Injectors to get recharged for next cycle.

Electrical signal from Injectors are received on Control unit for operators visual inspection."Low Level" signal is received in case of reservoir empty.Excess pressure switch operates in case system pressure goes beyond max.Operating pressure and thus protects the pump by tripping.Mechanical Relief Valve is provided for additional safety, "ON" & "OFF" time can be set on timers as per cycle time and lubricant required per hour. Inplace of combination of Injectors & Progressive Distributors, only Progressive System also can be used.
