It is promoted by Sri Vijay Mohan, Vice Chairman and Managing Director and Smt. Vanitha Mohan, Executive Director of a leading Automotive Instruments manufacturing Company M/s Pricol Limited in Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, India. They are also promoters of Pricol Technologies Ltd (Engineering design solutions), Synoro Technologies, Xenos Technologies Ltd, (Security System for Four and two Wheelers) Pricol Packaging Limited, Pricol Travels Limited and Bhavani Treads(Tyre Retreading Plant).
Libra was established with an aim to cater to the requirements of turned components to the auto ancillary major Pricol. Libra Industries was set up to meet the increased requirements of quality turned components.
Libra commenced its commercial production in Aug 1995. Since its inception, it had consistent growth in the turnover year after year. The turnover grew from 7.87 lakhs in 1995-1996 to Rs 380.82 lakhs in the year ended 31 03 2005. |
