About UsWe at Lichchhavi Niryat draw our inspiration from the rich traditions of the Lichchhavi dynasty which ruled the Vaishali city state in eastern India long before the advent of Gautam Buddha. The Lichchhavi dynasty established a flourishing republic which spread across the Himalayan Gangetic region and extended as far as the Nepal hills. More than two thousand five hundred years ago this dynasty earned the credit of having established the world s first republic with elected assembly of representatives. Lord Buddha greatly admired the Lichchhavi republic s unique democratic features like rule of law, respect for liberty of citizens, voting by ballots, decision by majority votes and such other features which probably had no parallel in the contemporary world history.
During the Lichchhavi rule, the eastern parts of India reached new Zenith of Prosperity in art & culture, painting, sculpture and architecture. Trade and Industry greatly prospered and the first ever commercial links were established with Tibet, China and other neighboring states.
Lichchhavi Niryat has not only borrowed its name from the Lichchhavi dynasty but also imbibed their rich traditions and values in its business philosophy. The Directors of the company are long time professionals backed by experience of several decades in International Trade and Marketing.
