 | Hydrated Lime / Calcium Hydroxide / Slaked Lime
Hydrated Lime/ Calcium Hydroxide/ Slaked Lime Calcium hydroxide, traditionally called slaked lime, hydrated lime, slack lime, or pickling lime, is a chemical compound with the chemical formula Ca(OH)2. It is a colourless crystal or white powder, and is obtained when calcium oxide (called lime or quicklime) is mixed, or "slaked" with water.
Calcium hydroxide is produced commercially by treating lime with water:
CaO + H2O → Ca(OH)2 In the laboratory it may be prepared by treating an aqueous solution of any calcium salt with an alkali. Because of its weak basic properties, calcium hydroxide has many and varied uses:
A flocculants, in water and sewage treatment and improvement of acid soils An ingredient in whitewash, mortar, and plaster In the tanning industry for neutralization of acid, the liming of hides and skins and the flocculation of wastewater In the petroleum refining industry for the manufacture of additives to oils (salicatic, sulphatic, fenatic) In the chemical industry for manufacture of calcium stearate Used in the separation of sugar from sugar cane in the sugar industry
As a filler In the petrochemical industry for manufacturing solid oil of various marks In manufacturing mixes for pesticides In the production of metals, lime is injected into the waste gas stream to neutralize acids, such as fluorides and chlorides prior to being released to atmosphere. |

 | Calcined Dolomite / Burnt Dolomite
Calcined Dolomite/ Burnt Dolomite/ Dolomitic Lime We offer our clients a comprehensive gamut of Burnt Dolomite which is available with analysis mixture of Loi, Mgo, Cao and sio2. The range is highly appreciated by our clients due to its steel grade dolomite. This product is composed of calcining a natural dolomitic limestone, which contains almost the same molar weight percentage of calcium oxide to magnesium oxide. This mineral is renowned for its purity, chemical balance and accurate composition. |

 | Quick Lime / Calcined Lime/ Burnt Lime
Quick Lime/Calcined Lime/ Burnt Lime Calcium oxide (CaO), commonly known as quicklime, is a widely used chemical compound. It is a white, caustic and alkaline crystalline solid at room temperature. As acommercial product, lime often also contains magnesium oxide, silicon oxide and smaller amounts of aluminum oxide and iron oxide.
Calcium oxide is usually made by the thermal decomposition of materials such as limestone that contain calcium carbonate (CaCO3; mineral calcite) in a lime kiln. This is accomplished by heating the material to above 825 °C,[1] a process called calcinations or lime-burning, to liberate a molecule of carbon dioxide (CO2); leaving quicklime. This process is reversible, since once the quicklime product has cooled, it immediately begins to absorb carbon dioxide from the air, until, after enough time, it is completely converted back to calcium carbonate. Lime is used in glass production and its ability to react with silicates is also used in modern metal production industries(steel in particular) to remove impurities as slag.
It is also used in water and sewage treatment to reduce acidity, to harden, as a flocculant, and to remove phosphates and other impurities; in paper making to dissolve lignin, as a coagulant, and in bleaching; in agriculture to improve acidic soils; and in pollution control, in gas scrubbers to desulfurize waste gases and to treat many liquid effluents. It has traditionally been used in the burial of bodies in open graves, to hide the smell of decomposition, as well as in forensic science, to reveal fingerprints. It is a refractory and a dehydrating agent and is used to purify citric acid, glucose, dyes and as a CO2 absorber. It is also used in pottery, paints and the food industry. |

 | Calcite / Calcium Carbonate
Calcite / Calcium Carbonate As per the client's specifications, we are offering an elite range of Calcite Powder which is available in extremely high whiteness, purity and free flowing in nature. Calcium Carbonate is used as filler in Paper, Plastic and Paints industries.Calcium carbonate is known as whiting in ceramics/glazing applications, where it is used as a common ingredient for many glazes in its white powdered form. When a glaze containing this material is fired in a kiln, the whiting acts as a flux material in the glaze. Ground Calcium Carbonate (GCC) or Calcium Carbonate is used as filler in paper. GCC and PCC are cheaper than wood fiber, so adding it to paper is cost efficient for the paper industry. Printing and writing paper can be made of 10 - 20% calcium cabonate. |

 | Talc / Soap Stone Powder
Talc / Soap Stone Powder Talc is a mineral composed of hydrated magnesium silicate with the chemical formula H2Mg3(SiO3)4 or Mg3Si4O10(OH)2. In loose form, it is the widely-used substance known as talcum powder. It occurs as foliated to fibrous masses, its monoclinic crystals being so rare as to be almost unknown. It has a perfect basal cleavage, and the folia are non-elastic, although slightly flexible. It is very soft and sectile (can be cut with a knife). Talc is not soluble in water, but it is slightly soluble in dilute mineral acids. Its colour ranges from white to grey or green and it has a distinctly greasy feel. Its streak is white. Talc is used in many industries such as paper, plastic, paint, coatings, rubber, food, electric cable, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and ceramics etc. Talc is widely used in the ceramics industry in both bodies and glazes. In low-fire artware bodies it imparts whiteness and increases thermal expansion to resist crazing. In stonewares, small percentages of talc are used to flux the body and therefore improve strength and vitrification. It is a source of MgO flux in high temperature glazes (to control melting temperature). |

 | China Clay/ KaolinKaolinite is a clay mineral, part of the group of industrial minerals, with the chemical composition Al2Si2O5(OH)4. It is a layered silicate mineral, with one tetrahedral sheet linked through oxygen atoms to one octahedral sheet of alumina octahedra. Rocks that are rich in kaolinite are known as china clay, white clay, or kaolin. Kaolin is used in ceramics, medicine, coated paper, as a food additive, in toothpaste, as a light diffusing material in white incandescent light bulbs, and in cosmetics. It is generally the main component in porcelain.
It is also used in paint to extend titanium dioxide (TiO2) and modify gloss levels; in rubber for semi-reinforcing properties; and in adhesives to modify rheology.[9] The largest use is in the production of paper, including ensuring the gloss on some grades of paper. |

 | Dolomite Powder Dolomite Powder / Grains Dolomite is Carbonate of Calcium and Magnesium “Ca Mg (CO3)2”. We provide our clients a quality range of Dolomite Powder which is synthesized using premium quality raw material. Available Coated and Un-coated in different Mesh size as required by the end user. Dolomite is widely used in Iron & Steel Industries due to its strength and compatibility in process of purifying Iron & Steel. Dolomite Powder of White Colour is used as Filler in many applications such as Soap & detergent, Paints, Ceramics and many other Industries.
Where calcite limestone is uncommon or too costly, dolomite is sometime used in its place as a flux (impurity remover) for the smelting of iron and steel. Large quantities of processed dolomite are used in the production of float glass (flat glass) |
