The shelters that houses and protects sophisticated and costly communication equipments/modules are just as important as the equipments or modules itself.   Lambda puts high level of research, planning and know how into designing these shelters. We provide indoor/outdoor shelters or cabinets for mobile base stations and telecommunication applications. Typically a normal telecom shelter will be a fully customized product and will be designed and made as per customer's specifications, which will have features shown on the right hand side of the sheet, while optional features can be added as per requirement. Lambda also have developed the complete solution for telecom BTS site featuring latest cost saving, efficient, environment friendly design called ECO SHELTER SITE.

Enclosures

Enclosures

Telecom Enclosures are used to house electronic components, equipment and devices. They are designed to protect batteries and to maintain uniform temperature.

Basically our enclosure has two units:-

  • BBR (battery bank rack): The battery bank rack is basically used to provide the battery back up to the BTS antenna. The number of battery and there voltage depend upon the costumer specification and requirement. Battery racks allow you to clear valuable floor space and organize your battery bank on a rigid, high-strength support structure, under controlled temperature.
  • BFU (battery fuse unit): A fuse unit includes first and second fuses devices. Each of the fuse devices includes a attaching portion to be attached to a battery terminal of a battery, a housing provided on the attaching portion and having a cavity which is opened forward and backward of the housing, and a fuse body having a first end which is electrically connected to the battery terminal and a second end which is covered with the housing to form a wire connection part, the fuse body having a fusible portion which is disposed in the cavity. When the housings are superposed in a direction away from the battery, at least one of the housings and the fuse bodies are constructed so that the fusible portions are checked as viewed in a forward direction of the housings.

ECO Shelter site is a complete telecom shelter site solutions which controls the OPEX lowering the daily expenses and let customers concentrate on design of their network and project.

ECO shelter site consists of 5 major elements namely:

  • PU Foam sandwich FRP/PPGI sheet panel
  • Enthalpy controlled panel air-conditioner
  • Static Passive cooler
  • Indoor Electrical / Outdoor Electrical (Optional)

LAMBDA launches Eco Shelters by utilizing FRP / UV resistant Painted GI sheets to offer better thermal resistance for solar gain. Eco Shelters are developed taking into consideration very long life duration along with 60-70% better cooling mechanism compared to conventional shelter.

Enthalpy controlled air-conditioner opens dampers to let outside cool air to rush in from pre and post filters of 20m, to supply only clean and cool air inside the enclosure when outside sensible temperature is lower then inside. During power failure, Static passive coolers (SPC) add to thermal backup. Micro Controller Based applications is fully automatic power management distribution and conditioner employing static voltage regulators, surge arrestors, alarms and sensors, AMF panel, Surge filter etc for fastest response time with more than 96% efficiency.
