Incorporated in the year 1989, L.R Fabrications is a leading manufacturer and supplier of premium quality pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, process equipment, static equipment, rotary equipment columns and pipings. Our products are made as per the international standards such as ASME, ASTM, IS, TEMA, EN and API 650. Our founder, Mr. L. Rajan, possesses a unique and rewarding experience of over 50 years in the field of fabrication. Quality, for us is the main objective and we take due care to provide the highest quality products to our customers. We carry out stringent quality measures and several tests to maintain our quality and avoid any kinds of defects in various stages of production. We have an excellent infrastructure that is located in prime location of Coimbatore. It is equipped with versatile machinery that facilitates faster and better production.

Our Proprietor Mr. L. Rajan aged 69 years is the founder of our company. He is a matriculate. He started his carrier in a company by the name of M/s. Everest Engineering Works as a Draughtsman. Due to his hard work perseverance and commitment he was transferred with promotion to various departments involved in the fabrication. By working in different departments he gained in a vast knowledge in all the facets of a fabrication industry which now he has imparted to his subordinates.

He has more than 51 years of experience in the field of fabrication. When M/s. Everest dissolved in the year 1986 due to financial litigations he resigned from the company and started taking up challenging site jobs and L.R. Fabrications was started subsequently in the year 1989. With his old contacts he started getting good orders from various clients and has taken our company to great heights which we are now striving hard to take our venture in to greater heights.

Raw Materials Used
We use high quality raw materials conforming to various standards, such as ASTM A240/312 TP 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 316 Ti, 310, 410S, Inconel, Monel, SA 516 Gr.60/70, SA 285 Gr.C, SA 179 Cold drawn Seamless Tubes. These materials are procured from reliable suppliers and are thoroughly inspected by our experts to avoid defects.

We have a systematic Quality Management System that has been assessed by M/s. Bureau Veritas.

Quality Assurance System:

• Design, Drawing and QAP approval
• Material Attestation
• Welding Procedure Specifications, Welders Performance Qualification and Procedure Qualification Records.
• Stage Inspection for LS,CS and Nozzle Fit Up’s
• DP Test, RF Pad Test, Radiography And Hydro Test.

The tests & inspections conducted by us for quality measures are explained below:-

• Stress Relieving & Normalizing:
  Installation of 2500 L x 2000 W x 1800 Ht Oil Fired Furnace is under progress.
• Visual & Dimensional Inspection:
  We carry out our full fledged visual & dimensional inspection in our workplace with calibrated measuring instruments.
• D.P Test: This test is conducted for all butt weld joints

We possess a state of the art infrastructure situated at 443, Subramanian Palayam, GN Mills Post, Coimbatore. We have a large manufacturing unit that can manufacture upto 50 M.T. (SS and CS) per month. It can also be expanded based on the client orders. Major machines installed in our workstation include:
