LSG Sky Chefs acquired its comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of the in-flight service management business through almost 70 years of experience. The company was formed after the takeover of Sky Chefs, American Airlines' former catering subsidiary, by Lufthansa’s catering division Lufthansa Service GmbH. Over the past two decades in particular, LSG Sky Chefs has considerably expanded its worldwide presence.
Through its catering expertise, LSG Sky Chefs has developed specialized skills in the planning, implementation and management of all processes related to in-flight services. That includes the design, development, procurement and logistics related to in-flight services equipment.
