HAND EMBROIDERIES


Chikankari perhaps the most beautiful forms of hand work, unmatched in its grace, its classical motifs of leaves, flowers and paisleys. Chikankari is done solely by women artisans of Lucknow.


Mukeish or Badla Hand Embroidery again done by women artisans, using fine gold, silver, antique metallic wire. Commonly Mukeish Work comprises sprinkling tiny dots that lend an enchanting sparkle, particularly on chikankari items. But even elaborate motifs and designs can be used for a richer look.


Daraz and Jawa Work done by hand, a form of applique work, though more intricate.


Silk and Cotton Thread Embroidery using a palette of pure cotton and silk threads of every imaginable hue, our artisans can hand embroider the most delicate of designs on cushions, runners and garments.


Zardozi with its rich, gold and silver metal-wire work, crystals and stones, mirrors and beads, beads and sequins work, is ideal for creating designer wears, cushion covers and tapestries.

LHC has been providing high quality, hand embroidered home furnishings and garments, with an emphasis on customized designing & production, for our buyers who range from discerning individulas to some globally-famous retail store-chains. The company prefers to work witha few, selected buyers at a time, creating a different, exclusive range for them.

Production
We design, sample and make all our products & also develop concepts for our buyers. The main production infrastructure of the company is based in Lucknow, where we have more than 200 highly-trained women artisans. We also have our own zardozi, block printing & tailoring units.
