Our beginning| "Lucknow Chikan" inherits 3 generations of experience of being in the business of lucknowi embroidered wear for over 45 years. Though as a separate entity "Lucknow Chikan" has been in existence since the year 2000, however our sister concern has been in business since 1964. We have a reliable business reputation built over the years with honest dealings. |
Embroidery stitches| "Lucknow Chikan" specialises in hand embroidery. The embroidery is in a variety of hand embroidery stitches - shadow-work (Bakhiya), knot work (phanda and Murri),applique (daraz) etc. |
Quality standards| We have specialised into the good quality range of better embroidery, fine tailoring,assured quality fabrics, designer products with quality checks to ensure quality. For a handicraft industry like lucknowi this has been a very difficult task,but it has been achieved over the years with experience. |
Product range - The product range in which we deal in starts with Kurtees, tops, tunics and kaftans for women with huge production allocation and stock. The fabrics range from cottons to silks, pure georgette to terri-voils.
- We also deal in ladies suits and unstitched embroidered fabrics with limited production in cottons and voils and abundant in pure geogettes with masterpiece embroidery.
- Excellent embroidered sarees in pure georgettes and also in voils adorn our collection.For men we have sherwanis in pure geogettes, long kurtas in cottons and terri-voils in many designer patterns and short casual kurtas, also a couple of designs in embroidered shirts.
- In childrens wear we have short tops and kurtees for girls and also traditional churidar/shalwar kurtas. We also deal in short kurtas for boys and kurta suits in whites and colours.
- Other than this we can also manufacture according to specific orders a range of other products like bedsheet sets, tapestry, table covers,curtain sets and fabrics, napkins etc.

Wholesale business policyThe customer can select the pattern from our catalogue of existing patternsor give his own pattern for production. We undertake entire production orders as well as only labour contracts for embroidery. The minimum quantity of any wholesale order is a hundred pieces.If the product you want is part of our regular production the goods can be dispatched immediately. If the goods have to be made on order then the minimum order time would vary between 30 days and 90 days depending on the work to be done.Lucknowi embroidery is hand embroidery and a cottage industry. Goods pass through several stages before reaching the finished stage.Hence lead time requirements are much more than other readymade industries.We at "Lucknow Chikan" believe in building long term relationships,and give preference to long term customers rather than one time ones.
