Its versatile looms allow Ludlow to manufacture high quality jute fabrics in a great range of widths. Ludlow is one of the largest jute mills in India with an enhanced production capacity of 60,000 metric tons per annum.
Aim / Vision / Mission
Ludlow has played a pioneering role in the Indian jute mill industry in establishing the versatility of the golden fibre. Jute has traditionally been seen as the ideal fibre for making fabrics for packaging, particularly bulk items. But Ludlow has been the industry's trailblazer in developing an unending variety of non-traditional products out of jute and also by blending jute with other fibres like cotton and viscose. While there is a much higher degree of value addition in non-traditional items like special yarns, soil saver and scrim and their growing production is having the much-desired effect of reducing over supply of packaging materials.
Ludlow, the only jute mill to be built here by the Americans but later to be acquired by Mr S.S. Kanoria, has distinguished itself by creating industry benchmarks in product quality and after sales service. While our efforts in product diversification will be going a long way in the rejuvenation of the jute industry, we have an abiding commitment to keeping the environment clean. In our untiring pursuit of reducing the use of environment unfriendly plastic, we have developed a number of substitute products, which have found ready global acceptance. As in the past, we will in partnership with our customers go on developing jute products for new applications. To make this happen, we will continue to make adequate investment in new generation machines as we further strengthen our research and development outfit and designing skills.

Awards / Recognition
Ludlow won the distinction of being the first jute mill in the world to get ISO-9002 certification for its entire range of jute products. Naturally, Ludlow products find great favour with buyers all over the world.
