These are offered in two grades Grade-1 and Grade-2 and are carefully finished by hand scrapping. Rust preventive coating is applied before packing of these plates to ensure that surface plate is protected from harsh climatic conditions.
Granite Surface Plate

We manufacture high quality granite surface plate that is produced as per IS-7327:2003 standard. This plate is used for precision gauging, inspection, layout and tooling setup. This is also an accurate base for mounting, sophisticated mechanical, electronic and optical gauging systems. We make use of black granite that is procured from reliable quarries. High standard of flatness is also maintained. We perform various inspections using high precision computerized electronic level made by Wyler of Switzerland. We also provide calibration certificate traceable to National Physical Laboratory (NPL, Govt of India) New Delhi.Also we have the ability to offer fabricated stand with leveling screws and the height of the stand will including surface plate will be be 900 MM (approx) from floor level.

Cast Iron Plate

Cast iron angle plates are manufacture as per IS:2554 – 1971 standard and they are used as a vertical reference for inspection and tooling purposes, clamping and holding work in vertical position for layout, tooling and machining. Comparator stands are specifically designed to provide the stability and durable accuracy needed for electronic gaging. These are manufacture using heavy cast iron bases.

Test mandrels are tool component that can be used to grip other moving tool components. Mandrel is used to bend the exhaust pipes into smooth curves without undesirable creasing, kinking, or collapsing.

These are used for setting up and leveling machinery and for inspecting and spotting bearing surfaces during hand scraping operations. Also these are extensively used for properly supported, they may be used with different indicating devices to check surface flatness of large machined areas like surface tables, machine tables and bed, machine ways etc.

Cast Iron Box angle plate are made as per IS : 6232 - 1971 and can be used as right angles and squares for layout machine set-ups, tooling and inspection. Matched pairs can be used as height blocks and parallels and without the need for repositioning or disturbing accuracy; a job can be set on one of its faces and rotated in five positions.
