About Us

Maanheruka Group is a well known manufacturing group in the secondary market in Eastern India . Our group has chain of value added products, which includes Sponge Iron, M.S. Ingot/ Billet H.D.P.E bags, Mustard Oil, Mustard Cake etc. Our group draws its strength from an old tradition of reliable customer service and quality products. Our manufacturing facilities are spread in Mangalpur,Durgapur , Kolkata in West Bengal and Dhanbad in Jharkhand. Maanheruka Group Of Industries starting from setting up of Mustard Oil Mill in 15 Aug 1974 in a manual form in the district of Dhanbad and then unto converting to automatic way in 2005. In 1983 our group started processing of reject coils and rejected CI Scrap at Dhanbad and then to Kolkata in the year of 1995 from steel giants like SAIL/IISCO/DSP etc to process the Big Size CI Mould into small pieces through scrap hammer and hydraulic processing machine and de-coiling of coils. At that time our group became one of the main scrap processor of the Steel making.After 2000 availability of scrap from steel plants deteriorated and CI scrap used in the manufacture of Ingots is replaced by frequently used Sponge Iron produced from Hematite grade of Iron Ore. Our group then moved down for studying the project of Sponge Iron and due to vast availability of its raw materials i.e Coal, Iron Ore & Dolomite and easily access to it from the nearest location of Coal Mines at Raniganj and Iron Ore from Orissa, our group had successfully installed and started its 1st Kiln, 2nd Kiln and 3rd Kiln in the year of June 2002, 2004 and 2005 respectively with a capacity of 50 TPD each.After 2004 steel market went down in comparison of previous four years and due to more fluctuation in the steel sector, we had planned to foray into different sector considering with the export market of H.D.P.E Bags as for against the expansion in steel sector. Our group then again moved down for studying the project of H.D.P.E Bags in the year of 2005. Due to more demand of H.D.P.E Bags in Indian market as well as European market and easily access to its raw material (P.P Granules) from Haldia and Reliance, group had successfully installed and started this plant in the year of March 2006 with the capacity of 9 mt/day. Our company G&A Metals Pvt. Ltd with its manufacturing unit at bankura, West Bengal, manufactures MS Ingot and have moved one step ahead from 1st July,2008, by manufacturing billet.
