Ash conveying system offered by us is a well proven method for the transferring of ash through standard pipelines at low velocity. Featuring virtually maintenance free designs, these systems have undergone continuous development that ensure in them highest efficiency & operational reliability. Further, all systems are backed by Macawber dense-phase technology that assure customers of the successful functioning of every ash type & combustion type system delivered from our end. Work Process:
- A s h v e y o r ® operating sequence is very simple & relaxed
- Feature small cast iron vessels that do not require a vent valve, a level probe or discharge valve
- Each cycle clears away deposited ash from feed hopper leaving them normally empty
- Each line of A s h v e y o r s ® on each ESP field economizer or bag house cycle simultaneously transfer ash through a common pipeline
- Diverter valves for each feed point are not required & system controls are equally simple
Performance:
- A major coal fired utility of 2 x 300 Mega watt units
- Uses low quality coal with high ash content
- Requires 46 tons/hour design rate over 350 meters from ESP units
- Handling high temperature ash at 3500 C from the economizer
