Electric Forklift Truck
FEATURES
WHEELS :
The truck are fitted with large diametre trye thus reducing the rolling
resistance and wear and tear. All wheels are accessible for easy
removal.
Drive Control : State of the art solid state electronic control
is used for traction drive. Choice of microprocessor based or analogue
control is provided. Step-less and smooth traction speed control, with
built-in current limit, anti plugging and optional bypass features
achieve high and safe travelling speeds, greater work output per hour
and optional use of battery power. Built-in fault detection systems shut
down the traction circuit in any fault condition and specific fault
indication signal is provided for quick diagnosis. Battery monitoring
system with lowvoltage hydraulic cutout is provided to save the battery
from over-discharge.
BRAKES : The truck has two independent systems of braking
namely, Hydraulic and Mechanical.
Drive Motors : Variable speed totally enclosed generously rated
8 kw motor.
Battery economy : Higher Voltage batteries (48V) are used for
better efficiency. A higher voltage means lower currents and, therefore
lower lossses. The battery is housed in a steel container.
Chasis : Robust open type fabricated structure of steel plates
having the main load reaction members triangulated to give additional
strength. The low chassis height gives a low centre of gravity for good
overall stability. High under-clearance provides operational advantages.
Mast Unit : The Mast unit is independently mounted on the
chassis making its removal easy. It is made of special steel selections
and braced with steel plates for rigidity Twin clear view or triple mast
designs, all of telescopic type, are available for varying lift heights.
The Forks are adjustable on the carriage and can be locked in position
by locking pins. DRIVE AXLE The differential axle is fully floating
double reduction type with taper roller bearing throughout. The axle is
independently mounted on the chassis and can be removed without removal
of other components.
Rear Axle : The rear axle made of cast steel is centrally
pivoted on torsional rubber bushes and ensures constant ground contact
for wheels even on uneven ground. Rubber buffers limit the articulation
movements and this ensures stability and dampens shocks. A wide steering
linkages are provided with ball joints to mate steering effortless.
