Feed Water pH Conductivity Indication System

Measurement & monitor of feed water pH / conductivity is used to maintain the pH / conductivity of feed water in allowable range. Due to continuous variation in pH / conductivity corrosion & scaling occurs on boiler tubes.
PH / conductivity indication system continuously monitors the pH / conductivity. PH/ conductivity electrode is installed on feed water line, which senses the pH / conductivity of water & signals to pH / conductivity

Bioler Drum Level Indication Or Control System (Single / Three Elements) (With High /Low Level Alarm

Bioler Drum Level Indication Or Control System (Single / Three Elements) (With High /Low Level Alarm
Boiler drum level indication system installed to maintain exact water level in drum & also to get high/low level alarm of level.
Differential transmitter is used as level sensor, which sends the signal to level indicator.
Level indicator shows the drum level in mm of WC or in %.


Benefits Of System:-

  1. constant water level can be maintained. Excess water level can be avoided by high alarm signal.
  2. Low water level can be avoided by low alarm signal.  Continuous steam & water flow is possible.
  3. Smooth & efficient working of the boiler.                  
  4. Variation in steam pressure, temp & flow is minimized.

In this system level is controlled with the help of single /three elements control system.


Single Element Control System

In this control system we have measured the drum level with the help of D.P. transmitter & its signal given as input to the P.I.D. controller, which controls the pneumatic feed water control valve to get the predetermined boiler drum level.

Three Element Control System.

In this control system drum level is controlled by measuring the drum level, outlet steam flow & feed water flow ( boiler drum pressure, optional parameter  is used in this control system)above three signals are feed to multi input & single output three element microprocessor based controller which controls the level as mentioned above.

Flue Gas Co2Analyser With Recorder.

Flue gas Co2 analyzer is installed on outlet of flue gas ducting. Co2 % in flue gas mentioned @ 12%. Sample line of flue gas is tapped from the ducting. Co2 glass electrode senses the Co2 in flue gas & sends signal to Co2 indicator/recorder.

Pressure Reducing & Desuperheating System (Pneumatic / Electronics).

Pressure Reducing & Desuperheating System  (Pneumatic / Electronics).
High pressure & high temperature steam is used to rotate prime movers like mill turbine, power turbine etc. but latent heat is required for the boiling purpose because enthalpy in saturated steam is always more in saturated steam than in superheated steam generally.
1 kg/120 Oc; 3 kg/135 Oc; 7 kg/165 Oc; PRsystem used in sugar factory.
1 kg/cm2 PRDS system is used to bleeding the live steam in exhaust of mill turbine & power turbine.
3 kg/cm2 PRDS system is used to pan washing purposes.
7 kg/cm2 PRDS system is used to sulphur burners, centrifugate.
PR system operates on pneumatic controller, control valve. Process signal given to pneumatic controller. Desire pressure can be set on controller. It operates on 20 psi & output air signal is 3 to 15 Psi is used to pneumatic control valve.

Desuperheating System

Desuperheating is done by spraying of feed water through specially designed nozzles. There are two methods one is ON LINE (COUNTER FLOW) & another is VESSEL (COAXIAL FLOW) de super heating. In ON LINE system water is sprayed in the pipeline, in COAXIAL method all exhaust / steam is collected in vessel & de superheated. Thermocouple is used to sense the temperature thermocouple generates the signal in mV. Which is given to digital temperature Controller to compare the actual temperature with set point & generates error signals. Which operates pneumatic valve through solenoid valve.
