These mixers are very extensively used in India since a very long time . These mixers are with hopper or without hopper according to customer’s requirement and the rotation speed of the drum is between 20- 22 RPM and it is to prepare a good homogeneous mix. It is to be rotated for at least 40 revolutions i.e. 2 minutes. These mixers are powered by diesel or electrical motors.
