this lens has three mirrors angled at 59 deg, 66 deg and 73 deg and arranged at 120 deg intervals to permit viewing of the fundus and anterior chamber angle. The posterior pole is also observable through the central axis of the lens.

a very useful instrument to check astigmatism during a cataract surgery. Microscope illumination is used to form a reflection of alternate black and white rings over the cornea. These reflections indicate the astigmatism and requirement to adjust the sutures to minimize it.

these strips work by staining the cornea blue upon instillation. This causes "speckling" of the cornea, which gives the doctor immediate indication of any dry patches, as well as any muco-deficient or damaged corneal cells. Most importantly, it does not sting the eye like rose bengal, and a white light or blue light can be used on the slit lamp during detection. Available as sterile strips in individual pouches.

rose bengal is an ocular stain that has affinity for degenerating epithelium (outer layer of cornea). It stains devitalized or degenerated epithelial cells as well as mucous filaments. Available as sterile strips in individual pouches.

this dignostic strip made from the whatman no 41 filter paper measures the amount of tear production. These strips are individually wrapped and are gauged so they can be easily read. The schirmer test is based upon mechanical reflex stimulation of the tear production and is actually a test of reflex tear production when performed without anesthesia. Place a dry schirmer strip over the middle to lateral 1/3 of the lower eyelid. The patient is then instructed to look forward and blink normally. The strip is removed after 5 minutes and amount of wetting is recorded in millimeters.

a capsular tension ring may not hold the bag in place during phaco if the zonules are especially weak. Surgeons sometimes use iris retractors on the rim of the capsulorhexis in order to manage this problem, but iris retractors aren't designed for this purpose. Since the iris retractor comes in at an angle, the hook is not in the plane of the rim to be supported.

in contrast, capsulecare is designed such that the hook is angled to be in the plane of the anterior capsule. As a result, it's easy to get a firm and reliable grip on the rim. Further the tip of the hook is rounded to prevent any accidental damage to the peripheral capsule while placing the hooks in the bag. The round tip also provides a larger support area per hook thereby reducing the number of hooks required in each surgery. Once the hooks are placed in position to support the capsule, an endocapsular ring can be inserted.

this instrument is used for controlled injection of the silicon oil into the eye with minimal efforts. The syringe filled with silicon oil is loaded onto the injector. Slow rotation of the handle pushes the syringe piston forward injecting the silicon oil in the eye.

an endocapsular tension ring is an extremely useful device for the cases of zonular dehiscence. However, the technique of insertion is difficult even in the expert hands since the anatomy of ocular structures is disturbed in cases which require the endocapsular ring. Moreover the manipulation is to be performed through either side port incision (1. 4mm) or main phaco incision (2. 8 to 3. 2mm).
the endocapsular ring can be comfortably inserted in the capsular bag in a very controlled manner with the help of a disposable injector system, which is extremely easy to use.

Anterior chamber maintainer (A.C. maintainer) is a very useful device in small incision cataract surgery like phacoemulsification and non-phaco small incision Bluementhal technique, since chamber collapse accounts for a large number of complications during these surgical procedures. The A.C. maintainer is connected to a separate saline bottle and the tip is inserted into the anterior chamber through the side port incision. In case there is any surge or the chamber becomes shallow, the saline from the bottle automatically fills the anterior chamber avoiding posterior capsule rupture or other surge related complications.

The Epinucleus provides a protective cushion for the capsular bag during Phaco Emulsification of the nucleus, thereby protecting the capsule from sharp edges of the phaco needle. Thus capsular injuries are more often encountered during removal of epinucleus rather than nuclear removal. The phaco needle provides an adequate aspiration port (3mm) but there are two disadvantages especially with aspiration of sticky/stubborn epinucleus.

1. The port is situated at the tip of the needle, thus in case of sudden gush of fluid, the posterior capsule can come in contact with the sharp edges of the aspiration port leading to capsular rent.
   
   


2. The epinucleus cannot be engaged into aspiration port of phaco needle by going inside the capsular bag. It has to be brought to the center for safe aspiration.
   
   The I/A probe cannot be used for epinucleus removal because the port size is only 0.3mm and the epinucleus is too brittle to be aspirated through a small port. In an epinucleus aspiration probe the port size is large enough for epinucleus aspiration (1mm). It is situated away from the tip which helps in safe aspiration of even the toughest of epinucleus very easily. A very handy instrument to avoid tricky situation in phacoemulsification.

It is a double ended glide which is very useful in SICS as well as Phaco Surgery.

When conventional spectacles can no longer help and surgery or medical treatment is not appropriate, or very prolonged, then it is time to consider low vision aids. These come in a wide range from simple hand-held magnifiers to electronic devices. Different ones are needed for different visual tasks. Low Vision Aids do not cure the cause of the vision problem but rather utilize the remaining vision to its fullest potential. Low vision care also does not replace the need for other concurrent treatments such as laser, medication and surgery.

Our Low vision aid kit comprises of hand magnifiers, stand magnifiers, Pediatric spectacle magnifiers & adult half eye spectacle magnifiers in different dioptric powers.

This lens is designed to visualize the structures deep in the vitreous in phakic & pseudophakic eyes. The lens has a 36 degree field of view.

A 2-mirror gonioscope is designed for anterior chamber angle observation. Two opposing mirrors inclined at 62 degree provide a complete 360 degree view of angle with only 90 degree of rotation of the lens. Similar to a single mirror gonioscope, the small contact surface helps in examination of children and adults with small fissures.

An increasing number of ophthalmologists are trying to convert to Phaco-emulsification and in the process many human eyes suffer the damage, some of them irreparable. The biggest hurdle in learning phaco is lack of artificial eyes/cataracts for practice. In an attempt to eliminate this problem we have developed a simulator eye for practicing the basic steps of phaco surgery and getting good hand foot coordination on the phaco machines with minimum stress levels.

This lens has four Suture Struts around its peripheral edge. Once the Sutures are placed, the lens/cornea interface acts as a seal and provides a closed system for a vitrectomy procedure.

This is an ultra thin wall cannula (20 G) with 45degree beveled tip along with a flexible silicon tubing. It is designed to provide more effective infusion than a regular wall cannula.

The flexible tubing is 25 cm (10 inch) long and attaches to an infusion source. Both ends of the infusion cannula are strongly secured with the silicon tubing thereby making it an ideal instrument for silicon oil injection.
