Product Features
Felt is a textile structure composed entirely of fibres interlocked physically and consolidated through mechanical work, chemical action and moisture, without the use of weaving, knitting, stitching, thermal bonding or adhesives. The versatility of felts is that it can be thin or thick, soft or hard, white or coloured, skived, trimmed, punched, drilled, shaped, moulded, sewn, pressed, laminated to other material, adhesive coated or resin impregnated. Hence, there is always room to innovate products in felt. It is composed either wholly of wool or in combination with other synthetic fibres. According to the material used felts can be classified into different categories, viz:

• Pressed Felt :
  Pressed wool felt is derived either solely from wool or from a wool and blended fibre. During felting compression, heat and moisture regulate its properties. The more the wool is felted, the firmer (denser) it becomes.

• Technical Felt :
  Technical felt is a type of pressed felt which carries out particular engineering or technical functions in its end use. Thickness range Standard wool felts range from 1.5mm thick through to 25mm thick and in the lower hardness grades are generally manufactured in continuous rolls. Extra hard felts range from 3mm through to 100mm in thickness and at this hardness are generally manufactured as flat sheets. Technical felt can be made available with different colours and its colour does not effect its performance.

• Wool Felt :
  Obtained by shearing the the sheep coat and then cleaned to remove debris and vegetable matter. Wool Felt is highly environment frienldy and bio-degradable product.

• Industrial Felt :
  Industrial felts undergo more stringent tests as these have to meet some exact requirements of consumers. Here, different dimensions of felt, i.e., thickness, weight, density, denier of fiber, type of wool and surface quality are specially considered.

• Arts, Crafts & Novelty Felt :
  Arts, Crafts & Novelty Felt is made approximately of 40% wool & 60% rayon.

• Compressed Wool Felt :
  It is a textile structure composed entirely of fibers physically interlocked and consolidated by mechanical work.

• Natural Felts :
