Taffeta silk is usually made from white silk cocoons. These are a delicate range of silk fabric available in various widths depending upon their usage and requirements of the bulk buyer. It can be used for producing both garments and furnishing items because of its smooth and fine texture and firm weaves with fine cross wise ribs. It is offered in plain, crossing colors, stripes, checks, jacquards, printed & embroidery silks.

The widths vary from 45" to 60" and the weight Linear meter would start from as low as 40gms to 145gms.

Standard Taffetas done are:

• 54": 108-100gms /mtr.
• 54": 125-130gms /mtr.
• 54" : 140-145gms /mtr.

Minimum quantities required are 100mtrs per style, deliveries being between 4 to 8 weeks.

Natural Off White, Full White and Black- 54" 108-10gms quality; are the 3 colors generally available with us throughout the year.

We manufacture, export and supply Dupion Silk Fabrics, which are crisp, rough, uneven texture and a dull luster. We have a wide range of colors (200 nos.) in this particular fabric, however it may also be in natural colour or white. The tight and plain weave of the fabric lends it its durability.

Indian Dupion variant is manufactured upto a maximum of 54" wide , the chinese Dupion is done upto 110" wide .

Stock in Full White/ Off White Chinese Dupion is avaialable at any given time.

Jacquard silk fabric is an elegant form of silk with intricately woven designs. This fabric lends a distinguished look to the attire.

Our range of Jacquard in stripe Patterns consists of more than 50 designs and more than 200 different colors.

Here the plain stripes are converted to any flowers, any geometric pattern in the lengths. This distinguishes itself from the regular stripes and other plain fabrics. Damasks are even more intricate and expensive ones. These are perfectly suitable for the high end types.

Minimum quantities required are 150mtrs per style, deliveries being 6 to 12 weeks depending on the styles.

Those are not looking for the sheen and lustre in silks, we offer Spun Silk based 100% Silk Fabrics. These fabrics have matt, smooth finish and are not shiny. It feels like cool cotton and yet is very elegant when worn as Ladied tops or Gents Executive Shirts.

One length portion of the fabric is Plain Tight Weave, the other being sucked layer upon layer as seen in the picture. We offer the best quality of organza silk available in the market. It is mainly used in the garments and fashion industry. Though the market for organza has hugely been taken up by polyester our competitive prices make sure that the original fabric still races at a steady pace in the market.

Our Organzas are of 2 types. One - The Yarn dye types where, first the yarn is dyed and then woven. This becomes a absolute beauty when it is a Cross Color. Not just plain Organzas are done, we have a combination with Linens, Dupions, and Taffetas. Maximum width available in these types is 54".

The other Organza is the Fabric Dyed one. Here, first the fabric is woven and then it is dyed to any color of choice. Maximum width is 52".

Qualities available are 33gms, 42gms and 47gms in 54" wide.

Curtains to the US Standards - 52" x 96" , 52" x 84" are made - with or without Polyester , Cotton Lining / Interlining, packed in resealable covers with appropriate clientele instructions. These can be Rod Pocket type, Pinch Pleats etc. And ofcourse, Custom type are also done. Minimum - 30 panels per style. Deliveries - 4 to 8 weeks.

Pillow Covers / Cushion : Subject to minimum of 200pcs per style, any size of pillow covers are executed. Be it a 40cm x 40cm, or a 50cm x 50cm, with or without wadding, plain or with patch work, we execute the same.

Bed Spreads, Runners, Table Cloths, etc - All these are executed as per clientele requisitions with the sizes, contents etc,

Bed spreads with poly wadding in various gsm - 40, 80, 200 - are undertaken in King Size / Queen Size with Standard Pillow Cases. Minimum quantity required for Bed Spreads is - 25pcs per style.

Be it pigment dye, block prints, roller prints, all are handled with great elan, Dyes are used are all azo-free with good fastness characers, prints pre heated to requisite temperatures to give a long lasting effect on Taffetas, Dupions, Chiffons, Crepes, Satins, etc.

MSW offers a wide range of knitted silk fabrics. SOme of these are:

• Fabric Dye Taffetas: Taffetas are closely woven fabrics and hence are quite tough / crsip. Ther are generally yarn dyed. The woven taffeta fabric is vat dyed resulting in an alltogether new feel. The fabric is like a Marble Finish since the dyes the do not penetrate the closely woven fabric resulting in fine crack like marks appearing all over and further making it smoother / drapy. A perfect fabric for Mens' shirts and Ladies Tops.

• Dupion with Poly Knit backing: Many a times, it becomes difficult to use Silk Fabrics in making Bags, Shoes, upholestries since the fabrics need to be glued to other surfaces. MSW offer Poly Knit Backed Dupions - the Silk Dupion Fabric is fused with polyester knit cloth by German Machines, therby giving the fabric more thickness and a new poly backing. So instead of direct applications of glue on silk (it would look tardy), one can conveniently apply on the poly backing and stick it on to the preferrd surface.
  
  This Silk Poly Backing is also used for Curtains. It acts someting like a blackout and drapes very elegantly. The process of stitching a lining / interling stands eliminated.

• Silk dupion with poly wadding: Earlier, for upholstries, Bedpreads, one would have to lay the poly wadding in between the Silk fabric and the bottom Cotton fabric and stitch all these 3 fabrics together to make a bedspread or a cushion etc. Now, MSW offers seamless Dupion Silk Fabric with Poly Wadding - without any stitching. The poly wadding is glued in between the Silk Fabric and Cotton Cloth with fine granules with the help of German Machineries. What one gets is an absolutely plain fabric with no stitching whatsoever.

These are new type of fabrics also called as Taffeta/ Dupion Overlays, since it is a combination of Satin in Stripe Pattern on a Plain Taffeta / Dupion Fabric.

The Satin Stripes highlights the otherwise dull Stripes to create exquisite hues, thereby creating a alltogether a brilliant effect so as to bring out the true colors of Silk to its glorious heights. And adding embrodery enhances its appeal.

It is extensively used in Home Furnishings, and the Finer versions are used in garments.
