Magnewin High Voltage Power Capacitors includes pioneering designs and are used in power factor advancement and compensating for transmission line losses. It has various features like Film Foil design, Extended foil (Corona ring) construction with edge soldering and edge end folding of electrode foil. The installation space and cost is reduced as it can contain 400 kVAr in a single container giving the kVAr to volume ratio.

Many elements are encased in a capacitor in series or parallel arrangement, either with internal fuses or not. High quality Hazy BOPP film is used as dielectric and aluminium foil as electrode, to wound the elements.

The edge of the aluminium foil is folded so that no sharp points are left as it’s sharp points causes high stress at the sharp points at the slit edges (corona effect), which damages the capacitor. This fold is known as corona ring and this technique is called Extended Foil Construction.We use non-toxic, biogradable, environmental friendly, Non-PCB synthetic fluid for impregnation. Automated switched capacitor banks are delivered as per customers needs.

Water Cooled Capacitors

Especially designed for induction heating and melting purpose, Magnewin water-cooled capacitors are offered in medium and high frequency. We devise and produce these capacitors on specific guidelines provided by our clients.

We secure them in aluminium cases to prevent heating by magnetic fields. its elements are wound with Corona ring design, edge and end folding of the electrode is done during the winding process. It lessens the probability of corona ejection and adds to partial discharge inception voltage (PDIV) levels. The end of the foil is soldered to ensure stiff electrical and mechanical contact and attain considerably lesser losses. Capacitor elements are wound with distinguished and imported aluminum foil as electrode, hazy BOPP film as dielectric medium. Being vacuum permeated with NON PCB fluids they have high heat transfer coefficient which confirm low operating power losses.

Magnewin capacitors are very dependable, secure and last longer. Cooling water is circulated copper tubes with high thermal conductivity. The performance and life expectancy are improved by this efficient technique of heat dissipation. Hence, the capacitor remains cool unlike conventional designs. In the dead case construction, the dielectric fluid absorbs the heat generated in the case as the current comes back via water-cooling terminals instead of the case. This increases the lifespan of the capacitor. The installation expenses are saved as the capacitor can be fixed directly to the chassis without insulators.
