Nitrogen, Phosphorus & Potassium are essential nutrients required for proper growth of crops & high production. If these nutrients are less in soil they are provided through chemical fertilizers. Potassium may be added to soil in the form of Super Phosphate, DAP & other mixed fertilizers. Mode of Action

Fruit flies are considered one of the most damaging insects on fruit crops (Example: Mango, guava & Grapes). Their lifestyle makes it very difficult to control them in any stage of their life, just by using insecticides and pesticides. Though the fly is present in our field, all the year round, it spends very less time actually on the fruit trees or fruit itself. After mating, which lasts for about an hour, females lay up to 200 eggs in a span of one month and these eggs are layed by injecting 1 to 4 mm deep in the fruits.
The eggs hatch within 2 to 3 days and the maggots start feeding on the fruit pulp and this goes on for a period of 6 to 29 days and meanwhile the fruits are damaged from inside in a very drastic manner. Damage caused by fruit flies ranges from 15 % to even as more as 60% depending on the infestation. Damage is also caused by fungal infection spreading in the fruits, through the hole made by the flies in the skin of the fruits, which creates dark brown patches on the fruits and the fruits ultimately fall off the plants. Since the maggots are actually inside the fruits, no contact insecticide works on them and the required dosage of systemic insecticides are much more and thus leave a great amount of residues in the fruits to make the fruits hazardous for any use. The Rakshak trap works on the fruit flies by attracting them before they mate and thus the fruits are saved from any damage in the initial stage itself. Taking into account such a successful control on the fruit flies by the Rakshak trap, both economically and productively, the trap is put into recommendations by APEDA, by the name Rakshak itself, for any fruits produced for export. Directions for use
» The content of packet is sufficient for 10 to 15 kg seeds. » Use only for the leguminous crops before the mentioned expiry date. » Mix the incoulant uniformly with seed gently with minimum amount of water taking care to avoid damage of seed coat. » Dry the inoculated seeds under shade over clean paper or gunny bag and sow immediately. » This is not a chemical fertilizer and hence does not mix inoculated seeds with chemical fertilizers. » If the seeds are to be treated with pesticides, first follow the pesticide treatments and finally treat seeds with MBF Rhizobium. » MBF Rhizobium provides nitrogen to the plant through out it's life and increases the yield. » MBF Rhizobium reduces dose of nitrogenous fertilizers like Urea. » Due to use of MBF Rhizobium the protein content of seed increases.
Instruction for use
Mix 4 gm Rhizobium in sufficient amount of water required for 1 kg of seeds & allow coating to all the seeds. The coated seeds are to be used for sowing after drying in shade. Irrigate the land as per required where sowing is done.

Contains 2 x 108/ml spores of Verticillium Spp. fungus known as "white-halo" because of the white mycellial growth on the edges of infected scale insects. The spores of the fungus are slimy & attach to the cuticle of insects.
How does MBF Vir-o-Action kill the insects ?
The fungus infects insects by producing hyphae from germinating spores that penetrate the insect's integument. The fungus then destroys the internal contents and the insects dies. The fungus eventually grows out through the cuticle and sporulates on the outside of the body. The fungus produces insecticidal toxins such as dipicolinic acid and a cyclodepsipeptide toxin called as bassianoli.

Direction for use
For Spraying Mix 1 Lit of MBF Vir-o-Action in 350-400 Lit of water & use for spraying of 1 Acre of land. Completely wet the back surface of leaves & stem. If infection still persist after 7 days repeat the spraying. For Soil Application Application of Vir-o-Action to soil kills the insects & the larvae in the soil. For soil application mix 5 Lit of Vir-o-Action in 1 Lit of water & apply near the roots or else mix 5 Lit of Vir-o-Action in Brown Gold organic fertilizer & spray it on the field & follow irrigation after spraying.
For better Results
» Keep MBF Vir-o-Action mixed in the water for upto half-an-hour before spraying. » Better results can be obtained if used with the Neem based insecticides. » MBF Vir-o-Action should be used only after 3 O' clock at noon. » Threads of the fungus should come in contact with the body of the insects for better results. » Wet the plant completely. Ensure that the lower surface of leaves & stem gets wet completely. » New pruning & inflorescence must get wet. » Vir-o-Action works best at temperature of 15 to 25o C and relative humidity of 85 to 99%.
