About Us

Mahesh Industrial Corporation was incorporated in 1987 with interests in coal and steel. With a long history of association with trade and industry dating back to 1970 the promoter had taken initiative to incorporate this entity as part of horizontal growth strategy. Reigns of the entity came down to present promoter Mr. Mahesh Batish in 2003, who has diverse successful experiences of print & packaging, writing & publishing, industrial relations, optimum fulfillment of industrial machinery requirements apart from being a social activist, forerunner to positive beneficial changes and a philanthropist in his own small capacity.

It is our endeavor to do business with a human face and make justified profits only. Industry is witnessing revolutionary changes owing to factors of striving for reducing its carbon foot print added with compulsions of minimizing operating and setup costs to remain competitive in today's global economy. From business point of view this is a huge opportunity and requires adoption of new procedures and techniques for harnessing the maximum potential of human and material resources. It is here that we see opportunity for ourselves. From just being a run of the mill provider of machinery we enjoy finding ways to maximize productivity and identifying markets for investments & sales.

Small steel rolling mills do good business in our part of world due to availability of suitable raw materials, production supports and ready market for products. At some other places only large scale steel units are more viable. The promoter studied a case where there was not a single operating small steel unit in seven hours of driving distance in radius! Steel products were still being sold after incurring some good transportation costs. The cost and sale price ratio between scrap and finish good was roughly 1:6 which is a viola cause even after adjusting for all production and administration costs it can leave the entrepreneur with astronomically high profits. Can there be a better business preposition! You can always ask us to identify target markets and make arrangements from quotation to commencement of production stages.

Apart from making profits a good business always gives back to society. We 'd like to coin the phrase 'Green Steel' for giving an environment friendly image to steel industry. For once we know that use of steel has saved vast resources and it is also an industry which has a bigger carbon footprint due to extensive use of electricity, oil and coal in it. By using modern techniques of production the production losses as well as pollution from production process can be minimized to a considerable level.

A tip for steel community and new investors : Investing in small hydro electric power plants, solar and wind power generation plants can be a boon for steel community. These plants have shorter gestation period, longer earning period, less maintenance cost and are capable of offsetting electric costs of steel industry to a great extent.
