IP54 dust-protection and splash resistance

The ICF3021 series meets IP54 requirements for dust-protection and splash resistance. The aluminum die-cast chassis is the basis for this rugged construction, allowing long-life usage in various environments.

 

128 memory channels and button control memory channel

The ICF3021 series has 128 memory channels with 8 zones. Memory channel selection can be made easily with the up/down buttons laid out below the PTT button.

Use the built-in 2-Tone, 5-Tone, CTCSS and DTCS capabilities as standard to set up your own talk groups and quiet stand-by when others are talking.

 

Multiple 2-Tone, Multiple 5-Tone

Up to ten 2-Tone and eight 5-Tone codes can be decoded on a channel. When a matched tone is received, the following items are programmable for each code.

Lithium-Ion battery standard

Lone worker function

When the radio is not operated for a preset period, the radio sounds a beep and requires you to push any button. If the radio is not operated for a preset time, an emergency signal automatically transmits and informs your co-worker that something may have happened to the individual worker.

 

Mode dependent scan

In the mode dependent setting, the scanning setting is dependent on the operating channel. When you change the operating channel, the scanning list automatically changes to the list set for that channel. It is convenient when you move to a different operating area and change an operating channel, you don’t have to change the scanning setting.

Optional board

The ICF3021 series has a 40-pin expansion socket for adding an optional board. A voice scrambler provides secure conversation and the DTMF decoder features has ANI (Automatic Number Identification) capability, depending on the installed board.

With one of Icom’s optional headsets and PTT/VOX unit, the ICF3021 series offers hands-free operation.

Wide range coverage and large channel capacity

The IC-F60 covers a wide frequency range in one version. The large capacity of 128 memory channels with 8 memory banks allows you to divide and store a variety of channels from local to wide area network channels. Both wide and narrow (25/12.5kHz) channel bandwidth is programmable to each channel.

Built-in voice scrambler

The IC-F60 has a built-in inversion type voice scrambler in all versions. When a more secure system is required, a rolling type voice scrambler is available depending on version. The rolling type scrambler system is fully compatible with the UT-110.

Waterproof microphone

An optional waterproof speaker-microphone, HM-138 provides reliable operation, even with the radio securely on your belt.
Built-in Tone signaling

The IC-F3003 series is so easy to use there's no special training required. The few knobs and buttons are generously sized for easy operation and are designed to provide non-slip, positive action – even while wearing gloves.

The built-in bridge-tied load (BTL) amplifier offers powerful 800mW* audio output from the large 45mm speaker. The radio delivers loud and intelligible audio even in noisy environments.

Weather resistant, dust protection, military rugged

While the radio is a compact unit with a height of only 111mm, the radio is tested to dust protection and water resistant equivalent to IP54 and 11 categories of MILSTD- 810 environmental test. In short, the IC-F3003 series is built rugged!

Internal VOX capability for hands-free operation

The radio has the internal VOX capability for hands-free operation. Optional compatible headset with plug adapter cable OPC-2004 can be used with the radio. Also, the VOX gain and VOX delay time are adjustable.

Selective calling, quiet stand-by and more

2-Tone and 5-Tone signalings give you selective calling, quiet stand-by and other convenient functions with programming. The radio “stun” function disables a radio over the air and the “revive” function restores the stunned radio.

Scan features

The priority scan allows you to monitor one or two priority channels while scanning other non-priority channels. The Tx channel and talk back functions allow you to make a quick response while scanning.

ANI FUNCTION 
Two types of ANI-PTT ID (per channel) and DIAL ID-send connect and disconnect ID information. REPEATER/RIC access is enabled through key operation or ID transmit with PTT set to on.

SCAN WITH PRIORITY
Channel scanning provides users with an easy way to monitor multiple channels for activity. Priority scan enables the radio to automatically check for activity on an important main channel during the channel scan sequence and while receiving a call on another non-priority channel.

BUSY CHANNEL LOCKOUT
Lockout further improves channel management by preventing transmission for another talk group is already on the air.

WIRE CLONABLE
