A product of the research & development of the International Jute Study Group (IJSG), these bags solve the problem of hydro-carbon contamination from the erstwhile process of using mineral oil based batching oil in the manufacturing process of jute bags used for packing food grade materials. Accepted by the International Jute Council (IJC) as IJO Standard 98/01 these bags are processed with vegetable oil making them ideal for packing of food items such as coffee beans, cocoa beans and shelled nuts. IJIRA or Indian Jute Industries' Research Association situated in Kolkata is an offical certifying institution of this product. |
