Jute Felt is a fabric of matted and compressed raw jute fibres and is gaining importance as an industrial product. It is made from 100% natural fibre and thus has a raw texture and look much like raw jute itself. It is made by compressing and punching of raw jute. The most important use of jute felt is for insulation purposes as it absorbs a lot of heat. It is used vastly by manufacturers of PVC Floorings to make jute backed floorings which are highly useful in cold countries. |
