We have established our own special standards of quality in this area. Open to customisation with respect to thickness and runnage count, this yarn is used for spinning and weaving of various styles and designs of mattings, carpets and rugs.

Handspun Jute Braids are one of the most popular and high-selling products. It gets its name from its appearence and is spun by using 3 strands of raw jute exactly like braided hair.

Jute braids are available in various different widths, runnage counts and is most extensively used for weaving of rugs, carpets and mats. Braided rugs have an extremely high demand in the international markets and are sold all over the world. Also, extremely thin and fine braids are used to make several different kinds of products like coasters, bags and also are used for designing purposes. 

Micro Boucle Matting is woven out of jute yarn and it is called so because of its look and texture. It ranges from 1000 GSM to 2200 GSM in weight and its width can be customised between 60cm and 400 cm.

Jute Felt is a fabric of matted and compressed raw jute fibres and is gaining importance as an industrial product. It is made from 100% natural fibre and thus has a raw texture and look much like raw jute itself. It is made by compressing and punching of raw jute.

The most important use of jute felt is for insulation purposes as it absorbs a lot of heat. It is used vastly by manufacturers of PVC Floorings to make jute backed floorings which are highly useful in cold countries.

Braided Jute Rugs are some of our newly developed additions to our product range. They are available in a few different designs in round and rectangular shapes. They are made out of different kinds of handspun jute braids which are woven and stitched together in what is called a "standing weave" form by special craftsmen and women. 

Special care is taken to produce the best quality rugs by having each different portion of the rug sitched together by experts in that area of work before the final product is put together. A product of the research & development of the International Jute Study Group (IJSG), these bags solve the problem of hydro-carbon contamination from the erstwhile process of using mineral oil based batching oil in the manufacturing process of jute bags used for packing food grade materials.

Accepted by the International Jute Council (IJC) as IJO Standard 98/01 these bags are processed with vegetable oil making them ideal for packing of food items such as coffee beans, cocoa beans and shelled nuts. IJIRA or Indian Jute Industries' Research Association situated in Kolkata is an offical certifying institution of this product.
