Established in the year 2003, Manav Jute Products Pvt Ltd has in quick time made a name for itself in the jute products industry. Over the years, we have developed an expertise in the area of handmade jute products and created a benchmark of high standards in quality especially in ‘handspun’ jute yarn and braids. We have a huge team of experienced and extremely hard-working skilled and semi-skilled craftsmen from across the state of West Bengal who have been carefully selected to produce the best products. They are encouraged on a regular basis to not just maintain but improve standards in order to meet all requirements of our buyers with respect to colour, uniformity, stitching, moisture content, dimensional accuracy and overall finishing.
Our craftsmen are constantly motivated to be creative and produce novel products and owing to that we have expanded our product basket substantially over the last few years. Additionally, it is always our endeavour to customise and create according to exact specifications from our buyers. Our uncompromising attitude towards quality also stretches out to the selection of raw jute which is procured from select and exclusive suppliers. There is zero tolerance for poor or sub-standard quality of raw fibre.
Regular checks are carried out to ensure that the quality levels are maintained. The team of workers consists of several men and women who are naturally skilled at their work and over time have developed the exceptional ability to control the uniformity of products made completely by hand. Living in small villages across the state of West Bengal, these workers are regularly educated on the importance of stringent quality management. Labour heads have been instructed to keep efficient quality controls over raw fibre as it is the most important factor in determining the ultimate grade of all products.
Our Executive Director, Mr Ashok Kumar Gupta with many years of experience in the jute industry has inculcated a working culture of transparency, business ethos, relationship building and swift and prompt communication. Drawing inspiration from Dhirubhai Ambani and Dr W Edwards Deming in particular among others, his leadership and direction have come a long way in making our quality standards and communication the two chief pillars of our company. All workers are treated as an integral part of the organisation and are encouraged to put in their best always.

We are engaged in manufacturing a wide variety of Jute Products. These specialty items are a perfect example of the skilled craftsmanship of the hundreds of workers across the state of West Bengal. Made from the best raw jute fibre, we specialise in Handspun Jute Yarn & Braids which are used to weave various types of carpets, mats and rugs.
Additionally, we offer a wide range of handspun yarns as per the exact needs of our buyers. We regularly develop new grades of yarns also sometimes called 'jute ropes' in different combinations of weave, colour and finishing. We welcome all kinds of inputs from buyers and have also developed products from ideas suggested by them in the past.
Skilled men and women are employed to weave beautiful items like jute place mats, coasters and rugs. These products are available in various designs once again open to customisation and are made completely by hand. Extra care is taken of fine detailing and uniformity. These products are eco-friendly and durable and give a pleasing natural look to the indoors.
We also make a variety of hand-woven jute bags out of very fine jute yarn and braids. They are available in different designs and styles such as hand bags, coin purses, back-packs, etc.
Hessian cloth of the best quality, micro-boucle matting of the finest weave and jute felt are some of our ever-green products.

Our work force consists of several men and women both skilled and semi-skilled. They have been selected carefully from across the state in different pockets with each area having its own exclusive domain. These workers form the back-bone of the organistaion and work very hard to make quality products in quality time. They are managed and looked after by efficient labour heads who have been regularly educated about quality management and changing market trends and demands.
All workers have developed over a period of time the special ability to maintain a considerable level of uniformity and consistency in all products even though they are hand-made. They are well trained in the entire process from cleaning the fibre, weaving to final sorting of the finished product and packaging. |

An uncompromising attitude with quality is an integral part of our organisational work culture that has been inculcated by our Executive Director over the years. We are guided by the belief that if we create a quality product, we would not just have satisfied customers but loyal customers - customers who would be willing to wait in line and pay more for our products. There are strict quality checks on the arrival of the raw jute fibre which is sorted carefully and poor quality of fibre is eliminiated from the production process. Products are checked during the work-in-progress stage and as well as at the finished stage immediately after production and also before final packaging. |
