Corrosion Inhibitor
A corrosion inhibitor is a material that attaches or coats the metal surface, providing a protective barrier film, which in turn stops the corrosive reaction from developing. Temporary coatings are often used to prevent corrosion during storage and shipment, and between machining or processing operations. In other words corrosion Inhibitors suppress the attack of acid on the metal surface without reducing the quality of acids.

Alkaline Corrosion Inhibitor
Description : {CORROSION INHIBITOR (COIN OW MTP)}
Acids are generally used in oil and gas wells to stimulate the Oil or Gas flow from the well and to remove incrustations in the wells. Acids , preferentially, hydrochloric acid is are forced under high pressure through the hole into the rock formation to produce fracture around the hole. About 10 -15 % of hydrochloric acid is generally used for producing fracture. When the deposit is calcareous. When such a large quantity of hydrochloric acid is used, it is needless to say that well equipment should be protected from corrosion by use of inhibitor. Acid corrosion inhibitor formulated by Manchem is an acid corrosion inhibitor which is stable upto 120ºC.

Handling & Precautions : Highly alkaline use gloves,nose mask and goggles while handling. At the time of dosing Acid Corrosion Inhibitor to HCl , may produce white fumes of ammonium chloride which are harmless. It is advisable to dilute acid corrosion inhibitor first with water & then pump hydrochloric acid into it.

Gas line Corrosion Inhibitor
{CORROSION INHIBITOR (COIN - HCAP-W)} INTRODUCTION The Product is designed to reduced the attack of HCL on iron Steel during Industrial cleaning and pickling procedures. COIN-HCAP-W is used for the mild actions of acid on the iron steel. COIN-HCAP-W is used along with the hydrochloric acid for pickling or industrial cleaning procedures, descaling and it is water soluble. COIN-HCAP-W is a liquid non-foaming inhibitor for continuous strip pickling in HCL acid. It provides high degree of metal protection, aids in reducing acid consumption, especially during line stoppage, and will not impede or reduce the rate of sale removal. APPLICATION: COIN-HCAP-W is used in pickling before the plating or painting, which is done over the iron steel surface, which have been oxidized, the scales are called mild scales. These scales are treated with acids which are premixed with COIN-HCAP-W to prevent any metal loss during pickling or industrial cleaning procedures. DOSAGE & OPRATING: - Dosage: 0.3 % w/v of HCL 30 %

CORROSION INHIBITOR (COIN - DSC)
COIN DSC is an organic free flowing liquid Acid corrosion inhibitor. It is essentially a high molecular weight amine derivative, formulated to give optimum results. It does not contain Lead, Arsenic, chlorinated hydrocarbons, chromates or nitrates. This product is completely miscible with Hydrochloric Acid and Sulphamic acid. It is used along with the acids for chemical cleaning of metallic tubes in heat exchanges, and boilers. The product is designed to give minimum corrosion to metals like alloys of Copper and Nickel, when hydrochloric or Sulphamic acids are used for dissolving scales, deposited in the heat exchanger tubes used in water desalination plants. Application The Acids used for dissolving scales, is premixed with corrosion inhibitor COIN DSC in a well-stirred container and the material is pumped into the system desiring cleaning. The constant monitoring of Cu, Ni and other ions is carried out to see the efficiency of completion of the operation. The spent acid is discharged or fresh premixed inhibited acid is pumped in depending on the deposits of scales. After completion of scale removal, using rinsing and passivation operation is carried out.
