Mr. K.Balasubramanian graduated in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in 1970, having obtained earlier a Bachelors degree in Science with Chemistry Major from Madras University. He is a Corporate Member of The Institution of Engineers (India).

Mr. Bala began his professional career at Bombay and later migrated to New Delhi in 1974. In early years of service he was engaged in Design, Estimation, Tendering, Shop Floor inspection, Commissioning at site of Process Equipments like Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, Skid Mounted Gas Driers, Pressure Leaf and Rotary Drum Vacuum Filters. In later years he had dedicated himself to marketing these equipments to various Petroleum Refineries, Petrochemical plants, Fertiliser Units, Gas & Power plants. Naturally he had developed good contacts with related Engineering Consultants and Core Industries. Now he is involved in inspection and expediting coordination and management.

Mr. Bala had for a few years supplied shell and tube heat exchangers with his thermal design guarantees for services involving Fuel Oil, Gases, Interstage cooling etc.

Since 1998, through his website, he offers his services to International clients looking forward to market their products and services to Indian Chemical Industries, and for those who are interested in having an India based Coordinator to source their equipment requirements and related inspection and expediting management.

Mr. Bala had earlier represented Korea Energy Industries Ltd of South Korea for PSA units and Wieland Werke AG, Germany for application of low finned tubes in shell and tube heat exchangers in hydrocarbon service.

For Germanischer Lloyd Industrial services India Pvt.Ltd. he was the coordinator for various inspection assignments.Coordination involved GL Doha, GL Qatar, GL Bangladesh, GL Germany etc. Apart from managing inspection and expediting jobs, he himself carried out preshipment inspections.
