Biofertilizers

Bio fertilizer enhance the productivity of the soil either by fixing atmospheric nitrogen or stimulating plant growth through synthesis of growth promoting substances. Bio fertilizers are the Eco-friendly Micro organisms. Such kind of bacteria are isolated in the lab and it will be multiplied in the lab with suitable medium fit it in a suitable carrier (Base) material and apply to the plants.

Bio protectors are beneficial bacterial or Fungal inoculants which control plant diseases effectively by antagonistic action. Manidharma’s Bio Control Agents (Bio protectors) are formulated with higher cell counts of microbial innoculant with carrier material. It will protect the crop from diseases.

Bio-insecticides are beneficial fungal cultures used for controlling many kinds of crop insects. Residues of the pesticide are not expected to remain on treated food or feed.

Metarhizium Anisopliae

Metarhizium anisopliae, formerly known as Entomophthora anisopliae, is a fungus that grows naturally in soils throughout the world and causes disease in various insects by acting as a parasite; it thus belongs to the entomopathogenic fungi. It is known to infect over 200 insect species, including termites. It is currently being used as a biological insecticide to control a number of pests such as grasshoppers, termites, thrips, etc.

The fungus does not appear to infect humans or other animals and is considered safe as an insecticide. The microscopic spores are typically sprayed on affected areas; mosquito nets or cotton sheets attached to the wall. The level of insect control (mortality) in general depends on factors like the number of spores applied against the insect host, the fungus strain used, the formulation and weather conditions.
