Pilot Valves

Item Code: SPM

Available with us is a wide range of pressure & temperature regulators type SPM & pilot valves that is developed to regulate pressure and temperature in refrigeration, freezing and air conditioning plants with fluoridated refrigerants and ammonia. Being a pilot operated main valve, these valves are ideal for refrigeration plant with dry evaporation, pump circulation and natural circulation. Available in two variants i.e. SPM 1 and SPM 3, these evaporator pressure regulators are fitted with screwed-in pilot valves that are mounted in an external pilot line.

The technical specifications of two variants are mentioned below:

  • SPM-1 is designed to accept one pilot valve either screwed-in or mounted in an external pilot line
  • SPM-3 will accept three screwed-in pilot valves or pilot valves mounted in an external pilot line

Safety Relief Valves

Item Code: SFV-15

SFV-15 is standard, back pressure dependent safety relief valves in angle-way execution, specially designed for protection of vessels and other components against excessive pressure. The Safety Relief Valve is designed to meet the strict quality demands and safety requirements for refrigeration installations, specified by the international classification societies. The Safety Relief Valve is recommended as an external and internal safety relief valve in refrigeration plants. The spring housing is closed tightly to avoid refrigerant leakage.

Specifications:


  • R 717, HFC, HCFC and other refrigerants within temperature range of -30°C to +100°C.
  • Pressure setting range: 10 - 25 bar g (145 - 363 psi g)
  • The operating pressure of the plant should be at least 15% below the set pressure
  • Temperature range: -30°C to +100°C (-22°F to +212°F)

Ammonia Check Valves

Item Code: SNRVA

Check valve or Non Return Valve type SNRVA can be used in liquid, suction and hot gas lines in refrigeration and air conditioning plant with ammonia. SNRVA can also be used in refrigerating systems with fluoridated refrigerants. When the SNRVA is used in liquid lines where cold, thick oil or impurities may be present, it is recommended that the standard spring be replaced by a special spring.

Features:


  • Ensures correct direction of flow: Prevents back-condensation from warm evaporator to cold evaporator
  • Fitted with damping piston hat makes the valves suitable for installation in lines where pulsation can occur, e.g. in the discharge line from the compressor

Technical Data:


  • Temperature of Medium: -40°C to +140°C
  • Maximum Working Pressure - 28 bar
  • Maximum Test Pressure - 48 bar

Solenoid Valves

Item Code: SPML

SPML gas operated solenoid valves are servo-operated main valves with screwed-on pilot solenoid valves. SPML valves use an external pressure source for opening (which means that no differential pressure across the SPML valve is required). This makes the valve especially suitable for low-pressure suction lines. The valves can be used in all types of refrigeration systems: Direct expansion, Pump recirculation, Natural circulation, within their specified pressure and temperature ranges SPML valves can be used for fluoridated refrigerants (R 22, R 134a, R 404A, R 12, R 502, etc.) or ammonia (R 717). Especially suitable for systems where low pressure drop is required SPML remains open even though the pressure drop across the valve is 0 bar. SPML pilot-operated solenoid valves can be installed in: Suction lines, Return lines (liquid/vapour), Pressure-equalizing lines, Bypass lines.

Ammonia Solenoid Valves

Item Code: SA-Series

Keeping in mind the diverse requirements of different industries, we offer these valves in Type SA Series that include SA 17, SA32, SA42 and SA 50. These high capacity pilot operated solenoid valves are ideal for refrigeration & air conditioning applications.

Below mentioned are the technical specifications of these valves:

  • Refrigerants: R717 (NH,), R22, R134A, R12, R502 etc.
  • Temperature of medium: -40 to + 800 C
  • Single coil (type KC-3) for all SA series valves

Item Code: SPMLX-Two-Step-ON-OFF

SPMLX are 2-step servo-controlled main valves with screwed-on pilot solenoid valves. SPMLX valves use an external pressure source for opening (which means that no differential pressure across the SPMLX valve is required). SPMLX are used in suction lines for the opening against high differential pressure, e.g. after hot gas defrost in large industrial refrigeration systems with ammonia or fluoridated refrigerants. SPMLX opens in two steps: Step one opens to approx. 10% of the capacity, when the pilot solenoid valves are activated. Step two opens automatically after the pressure differential across the valve reaches approximately 1.5 bar. Replaces SPML with bypass solenoid valve, 2 signals and one timer. Stabilizes working conditions and eliminates pressure pulsations during opening after defrosting Provides safety against pressure "shocks" as the valve can only open fully when ∆p < 1.5 bar.

  • Simple and inexpensive installation
  • Stabilizes working conditions and eliminates pressure pulsations during opening after defrosting
  • Screw thread pilot valve fitting
  • Only one signal required for both pilot solenoid valves
  • Provides safety against pressure "shocks" as the valves can only open fully when differential pressure is less than 1.5 bar
